EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Sales Engineer – Premier, Business and GovEd, Electric Lightwave (May 2013 to Present). An Integra company
dedicated to Carrier Sales, Government & Education (GovED) and Premier Accounts. ELECTRIC LIGHTWAVE owns
and operates its own fiber network covering the West offering High Speed Internet, MPLS services, SIP Based Services,
Virtual Private LAN, E-LINE & E-LAN Ethernet Services utilizing a MEF Carrier Ethernet backbone. Other fiber based
services include Lit DWDM Wave Services, along with our prebuilt 10G/100G Data Centers Connectivity and the
Spectrum Technologies based bandwidth reservation Wave Services.
Responsible for providing Sales and Design support for our full array of products and services offered. I also serve as the
Product Technical Lead for the Carrier Ethernet E-Line and E-LAN services as well as our WAVE DWDM Solutions
branded networking services.
Upon joining Integra, I started with the Enterprise Business Group and until we formed the new ELECTRIC LIGHTWAVE
business unit moving me over to Premier Accounts and eventually aligning me with the GovED channel. I was the primary
GovEd Sales Engineer Washington market for a two year period and secondary support for the Oregon and Idaho
markets. With a recent realignment of accounts, GovEd became my secondary responsibility and my primary support
focused on Premier and Business accounts.
Additional responsibilities include supporting my peers in other markets and providing technical overview training to our
account executives.
Network Engineer-Broadband Services, Network Operations-Click! Network/Tacoma Power (October 2012-May
2013). Responsible for network operation and maintenance support of broadband services over SONET transport,
commercial Metro Ethernet transport, corporate LAN/WAN functionality and network server support. Provide Tier II
technical support to broadband service technicians, sales engineering support to the Click! Business Account Manager
and Marketing.
Network Services Supervisor-Broadband Services-Click! Network/Tacoma Power (1998-October 2012).
Responsible for network operation and maintenance support of broadband services over SONET transport, commercial
and corporate LAN/WAN functionality, cable television products and services delivery, Internet services, and network
server support. Developed preventative maintenance procedures for network transport equipment. Provide Tier II
technical support to broadband service technicians, sales engineering support to the Click! Business Account Manager
and Marketing and the Business Operations Manager. Negotiated contracts with external vendors for hardware, software
and technical support of network transport equipment, routers, switches, and servers. Support all departments within
Click! Network. Nine years supervisory experience and performed supervisory function during absence of Network
Services Operations Manager. Telecommunications Engineer job classification.
Click! Network/Tacoma Power (January 2010- June 2010). Assisted Tacoma Power Compliance team in preparation
for the March 2010 WECC and NERC audit.
Pacific NW Bell/U.S. West Communications (1978-1998). I served in various positions: Technical Instructor of DS-1
Transport, Central Office Technician-High Cap, Network Operations Center (Special Services & DSOC), Systems Support
and Integration-Tier II, Field Service Technician (residential, business, coin), Outside Plant-Cable Splicer, Interaction with
vendors, and strong Customer Interface, member of Communications Workers of America and ORTT/IBEW.
U.S.Army (1973-1978) Served in the Army Security Agency Electronic Intercept in support of Military Intelligence
Operations. Supervised American and Korean Nationals in support of a remote “Intelligence gathering listening Post”
from December 1976-January 1978. Duties included personnel management, inventory control, site maintenance and
security, sensitive data and document control, inter-departmental coordination, and maintaining cooperative interaction
