Role Description:
Responsible for Network Engineering, Planning, Field Operations and the Network Operations Center
to provide our customers industry leading Network and Cloud solutions. DS1 alarm and error
reporting, DS1 loop testing, DS1 BERT testing. Design and layout of standard carrier copper and fiber
local loops (including cooperative loop and head to head testing, CO wiring, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Interface between Customer and Internal Functions/ Department & Act as the Customer’s SPOC.
Analyzing the order requested to the LEC(Local Exchange Carriers), and creating a Template (Template
includes Used information like Name of the Business, address contact information, number of circuits,
LEC order number, CLLI, IP info, Demark and so on).
Coordinated with other group members and managers involved in service delivery i.e., - Circuit
Designers, Project Co-Ordinates’, Order Processing Team, Central Office Technicians, Field Service
Technicians & Transport Engineering Group, to make sure telecom services are delivered timely and in
the correct configuration such that our customers are provided the correct services on schedule and
the company has ordered the most cost efficient service.
Manage global carrier co-ordination, escalation, installation and creates and off to the various terms
in corporate and production when necessary to assure customer satisfaction.
Once the order gets completed by the LEC (Local Exchange Companies) like Verizon, AT&T, Qwest,
PAETEC communications etc. Need to run the basic test, if the circuit gets failing we have to open
trouble tickets with LEC and trouble shoot with them.
3. When the circuits gets tested clean, Order/Circuits will be handed over to customers & need to notify
them about the billing start date
