Skills Audit – Review your strengths and weaknesses and confidence in the following areas:
Project Management
Over the overall assignment I believe I have gain many skill and I have learnt how to do things I would even
think off doing so I believe that the overall subject was challenging but at some times easier so I believe
that I have gained many new skill but my time keeping could be improved because I have spent more time
on some parts off my work rather than other parts but as an overall review I believe that I have done pretty
well to get my work done in the time I have been given to do it in.
Research and Ideas Generation
In this area I believe I am strong at this because I find it very easy to find images relevant to my work this is
an easy part of the subject because I have had complete freedom off what I wanted to find to base my robot
off this has made the overall research successful because I have been able to find what I have need to create
my idea.
Drawing Techniques
In this area I would say I was better at doing cartoon images even though I can make more realistic images
if I spend more time on the particular image but I would say I was better at cartoon images but my
weakness could be more realistic images because it would take me a longer period of time to complete the
image but I do think my skills depend on what I am working on.
Adobe Photoshop
I believe my skills I Photoshop are good but there is always room for improvement in this area in my opinion
purely because I can use Photoshop but I do feel that I still have stuff to learn in Photoshop to confidently
say I was really good at using Photoshop.
Adobe Illustrator
During my time with illustrator I believe I have gained allot skill with this compared to Photoshop because I
have had more time with illustrator but yet again I would prefer more time with it to get a bit more use to it
but other than that I do believe I can use it confidently to get what I want and to make sure what im dong
on it is right and overall correct.
NewTek LightWave - Modeller
During the overall project I have gained many skills and learnt how to do many things I didn’t know before I
started the project. I believe one off my strongest subjects would be the modeller even though I found it to
be complicated at first I got around it and begin to develop new skill and learn the basics off modelling. I
think one off the hardest things I tackled was learning how to create an object which consisted off curves
and bumps I found it to be difficult at first due to the fact that I had no experience using the software but
after completing the bat I had learnt new skill so I was able to create my sidekick much easier because off
this.

I am perfectly clear about the time scale I have available and I do believe that I can reach my current
deadline for my work.
Do you understand what elements of the unit are being assessed?
I do understand the elements off the units I also understand that all the assignments have to be there to
complete the unit this is why I am currently working to my deadline.
Do you understand the scenario and the reasons for carrying out the assignment?

2. I do understand the scenario and the reason for carrying out the assignment even though I may not agree
with some aspects off the assignment I do believe that it does need to be done as soon as I possibly can.
Have you visited the Second Life community and the SL Market Place? What are your impressions?
I have visited the second life and I do believe it is a good community my impressions from this were pretty
good and I found some features off this to be useful for the assignment so I do think it is a good and useful
community.
What is your goal for this assignment?
My goal for the assignment is to get my work done to the highest possible slandered I can this is my goal for
it.
Constraints – What is going to cause you problems in this project (technical, time, legal and ethical issues etc.) and what will you
do to solve these problems?
During the project my only problem may be time the reason being for this is because I like to spend more
time on certain parts of the assignment than others.
