2. Week 1 – Beginning 22/02
What have you been working on? (Please be specific and detailed here, explain what element of the project you have been engaged in and what

I have completed a pre-proposal, proposal, initial ideas PowerPoint, five skills audit forms and started my research on existing products. For my
existing products, I have found a brand that uses all my aspects, so it is easy to see the whole package work together.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I am happy with my work as I have started off with a lot. I am happy with the basics that I have done to get the project going and planning what I
will do.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
I would say my main success is coming up with my idea for the project as I have developed the idea in the past couple days. I have been thinking
about the brand, website, products, photos and the advertisements. Having this plan has enabled me to produce a range of possible ideas.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
I would say that the skills audit forms weren't as successful as I had hoped as I got confused on them with the wording, but they aren't as
important as other aspects, so it is okay.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I would say that what I have done is enough for this section as I am still developing ideas and possible aspects to include such as a social media
account.

Next week I am going to develop my research on existing products as I have more aspects to look at such as the photos and locations.

3. Week 2 – Beginning 01/03

I have finished my existing product research where I looked at a website, some photos, some products and an advertisement. I then moved onto
creating a form to help with my audience research which I sent out and got 36 replies. With this information, I analysed it in my research
PowerPoint to see how I can develop my project to fit my audience.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I am happy with how my research is going so far as I have been able to expand my knowledge of what I will create by looking at existing products.
I was also able to understand what my target audience will be by using the form.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
My main success was developing my ideas for this project as I now have more ideas for the website and product designs.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
I was less successful on gaining a wider range of ages for my form which would have helped to see what other age groups would have said.
However, the teenage age group was the most important which was the age group that answered.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I could have added some more questions about other aspects of my plans, but I didn't want to make the form too long as people were taking
time out of their day for me.

Next, I will look at secondary research, experiments and possibly some interviews.

4. Week 3 – Beginning 08/03

I have finished my existing product research, my audience research and my practical research which have all helped me to expand my ideas and
understanding of what I will be doing.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I would say that my work has gone really well and that everything I have done, has helped me in some way. All of the small and large details that I
have learnt from my research will all have an influence on my work.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
My main successes were my practical research as I was able to come up with some new ideas for how I will present the products on my website,
such as the marble background. I was also able to have a go at Adobe Dimensions which I will use for my prototypes when designing my products.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
Overall, nothing has been unsuccessful as I have learnt something from doing them all, such as keyboard shortcuts.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I could have done some experiments with After Effects to learn the basics for my advert as I wanted to use some of those effects. I will then be
able to export the After Effects video into Premiere Pro.

Next, I am going to carry on with my practical research as I have some text to add to explain some experiments. I will also have a look at After
Effects as I want to know the basics before production starts. I am also thinking about doing some subject research on different mental health
disorders so I could use that in my website.

5. Week 4 – Beginning 15/03

the text.
I have started the week by deciding what my brand name is, which has meant I was able to design my logo. When I had my logo designed, I was
able to change the colour for my ideas and I was also able to experiment with the backgrounds. To show the process of the logo design, I started
my Production Log as it is the first step of production. I have then planned what my products/product design process will look like with the
colours, items and software. I have also planned the basics of my website as I will only be able to decided what it will look like by having a go.
Finally, I have started to plan my photo shoot and advert.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I am happy that I have the brand name and logo completed as they now influence the rest of my decisions such as they colour and ideas. I am
pleased how the colours have turned out for the logo as it will mean my colour collection will work.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
My main success was my logo as I have created a balanced, minimal and calm design which is able to be in every colour and can be used on any
background.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
I was less successful with small aspects when making my logo such as the thickness of the sun compared to the text and what happens when you
resize them. I had to redraw the design a couple times to get the scale correct which was worth it as it looks better.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I would say I have done everything I can with the work I have done this week. With planning, you don't have to have everything planned and you
don't have to stick to the plan completely which helps me as I come up with random ideas when I am making the products.

Next, I am going to complete my planning for the photo shoot and advert as they will be done together.

6. Week 5 – Beginning 22/03

the text.
I have been finishing the planning for my photo shoots, adverts and website as it all will help me to make my production process easier. I have
planned all the smaller details such as equipment and props which will mean I won’t forget anything, making the production run smoother. I have
also created a production schedule to show what I will be doing for the five weeks of production which will help guide me to show how much I
need to do a week.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I am happy with my work as I struggled to get going with the planning as I wasn’t sure what the final products would look like. After getting some
ideas, I was able to plan everything and expand my ideas for each aspect.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
My main success was being able to plan everything and know what I will be doing with each aspect which will make my production run smoother.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
My less successful work was the story boards for the advert as I am not sure what it will look like. I will have a better idea of how it will look once I
have the videos recorded as I can see how to link them together.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I could have done some more after effects tutorials as I watched some basic videos which helped as I have some ideas for my advert.

Next, I am going to start my production with my t-shirt designs. I will start to update my Production Log often with screenshots of my work so far.

7. Week 6 – Beginning 12/04
What have you been working on? (Please be specific and detailed here, explain what element of the project you have been engaged in and what
type of work it is, e.g., research, practical, planning, knowledge based, etc) - you should upload examples of the work here that you can refer to in
the text.
This week I have been working on designing and making my t-shirts. I have created the designs on Photoshop and printed them on transfer paper
so I can take some photos. As the t-shirts were made, I took photos in the studio for the product pages with the front and back of each colour. I
was also able to take close up photos of the logo and the text which will also be used for the product pages.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I feel that the t-shirts were successful as they looked alright knowing that I used transfer paper. The photos turned out good as they have a
uniformed look for each page.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
I was successful when taking the pictures as the black background was a solid black instead of being greyish. I was also able to take picture for
each colour that look the same to keep a uniformed look.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
I was less successful when taking some photos as I struggled to stand in the middle of the shot when turned around as I wanted the model to be
evenly spaced in the frame.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I could have taken more photos of the same thing as I had to re do some to get the right. I also wanted to keep the photos in a uniform look.

Next I will be taking photos outside for the home screen of the website and I will also be filming the advert to edit in a few weeks.

8. Production – 19/04-12/05
I will evaluate my work on my Production Log as I will be showing the process in more detail, supported by screenshots.

9. Week 12 – Beginning 17/05

I have been evaluating my whole project starting with my research and finishing with peer feedback. I have evaluated my products in the
technical qualities and also the aesthetic qualities to see how I could improve them.
How do you feel about how this work has gone? (Remember, be specific and focus on key areas that you can talk about).
I am happy with my work as I was able to complete all my evaluation and have time to check over my other document before handing in my work
as the evolution was the last piece to complete.
What were the main successes in the work? (why were they successful? etc).
My main success was evaluating every section of my project in detail saying how I could improve next year.
What were the elements that were less successful, or you had difficulty with? (remember to consider why and explain your thoughts).
I didn’t have a weaker section of my evaluation as I explained myself for each section so they all had the same amount of detail.
What else could you have done to expand the work, improve the work, etc?
I have expanded my evaluation to get peer feedback so I wouldn’t need to expand my evaluation anymore as I've covered all the aspects.
