he media institution that I would like my music magazine to be distributed by would Def Jam
recorders because this institution are specialized in Hip-Hop and other type of genre within their
music. In addition, Def Jam does not distribute magazines as they are specialised in recording
albums and singles. However, I would like Def Jam to distribute my magazine electronically through
different type of media mainly thorough phones because a large proportion of my audience
research feedback that I received what that many people use their phones to consume music as
they are connected to the internet and have access on downloading apps and music. I have chosen
Def Jam because they have a greater ethnic background between their music and artists from
different ethnics and thus having more audience circulation, which they can relate to compared to
other distributors. The reason why I want Def Jam to distribute my magazine because my magazine
can relate to the Hip-Hop music they produce and to the specific age range that they target, young
adults between 16-20 years old, therefore they know how to reach their intended audience and
successfully publish my magazine.
