Draft 2
Here I have created two magazine double spreads to have an understanding what the audience would be
attracted too. I have mainly focused on the presentational features of the magazine on where to place
certain conventions. Furthermore, I received some criticism from my teacher and fellow class mates on the
presentational feature of the draft 1. “why is there a floating car there?”. This was one of the feature which
I had to edit on draft 2 only having my artist in the double spread.
Also I have changed the title of interview from ‘HIP-HOP’ to ‘THE FUTURE OF HIP-HOP’ because the my
artist would be the next Hip-Hop King of the industry and its all about him in this double spread.
Moreover, I have repositioned the smoke effect from the left to the right because when a consumer flicks
through the pages of the magazine, they will see the smoke effect when the page is turned over allowing
them to see an image which draws them to view the double spread.
