Introduction to ArtificiaI Intelligence in Higher Education
Evaluation: Question 6
1.
2.
3. Google Blogger was an important software which was frequently used by me to
upload my music magazine and preliminary work.
Using blogger allowed me to post an electronic version of the work that I produced
compared to printing my work. Therefore, blogger was a safer place to have my
work because it was easily accessible where ever I was and did not have to worry if
my work was lost.
Furthermore, the use of blogger allowed me to improve my work because my
teacher and class mates had access to my blog where they commented on
individual posts on how to improved certain aspects of my work.
4. This was the main source for me learning new information on how to use certain
software such as Photoshop, because in the beginning I did not know how to use
most editing features of Photoshop and used YouTube for help to view “How to
videos”. Viewing these type of videos has helped me to build a greater
knowledge on using Photoshop.
Moreover, I used YouTube to upload my evaluation videos that I created Because
they were created in a video format allowing my to easily upload my video on my
blog.
Overall, it has been very helpful software and can easily be used.
5. The use of Photoshop was throughout the creation of my music magazine because
Photoshop was the main editing software that I used to create my front cover,
contents page and double spread. The reason why I chose Photoshop was because a
wide range of professional editing features are available thus having me to choose
Photoshop.
I have learnt that using
varies lasso tools
enabled me to crop out
the background of the
images that I used allowing
me to portray only my
model in the image.
Also using the dodge tool
where certain areas of the
images had to be lighted making the image to look more vibrant and appealing
to view.
In addition, Photoshop helped me to build up layers of text and images without them
pixelating when even zoomed in as they were really clear, at the end the layers and
text were merged together to produce one final piece, my magazine as I found very
astonishing.
6. Using a slide presentation within my blog allowed me
to be more organised and a substantial amount of my
work had been completed on a PowerPoint
presentation. The software that I used was slide
share. Using slide share as a converter to change the
format of my PowerPoint presentation so that they
could be viewed on my blog via a embed html code.
What’s ap was used to contact my model and other
mates to meet up and help me with the photo
shoot. I have learnt that making a group chat
allowed me to contact many of my mates at once
and announcing a meeting point.
7. Google Drive has helped me a lot at the beginning of the production, as a
customized questionnaire had to be created in order for me to find out what my
intended audience expected in a music magazine. When creating an electronic
questionnaire in Drive it was simple because the template was already create thus
saving time. I have learnt the process of making a questionnaire in Drive and how to
send out the questionnaire to multiple people at once. Also using Drive it produced
a tally chart on the data received by the responses to my questionnaire making it
easier for me to create a graph.
8. The use of windows movie marker allowed me to upload audio and images of my
work that I analysed for my evaluation. This was a useful software because each
image and audio had a set of duration which can be edited to meet the requirements
that I wanted.
I have learnt that movie marker can be a beneficial software when proposing work
in a video format because it will be displayed similar to a PowerPoint presentation.
The reason why I chose movie marker was the simplicity of the software
compared to other software which were available.
