3. • Ubaidillah ibn Jahish à he converted to
Christianity then he converted to Islam. Later,
he converted back to Christianity in a non-
Muslim land
• In any land that is not a Muslim land, we can not
and do not implement Sharia law
• Uthman ibn Huwairish remained Christian for
his whole life, he left Makkah, never to return
• Zaid ibn Amer had the most interesting story. He never
converted to Christianity or Judaism
4. • Zaid would forbid all the daughters to be killed
and offered to adopt the daughters that the
Quraish wanted to kill
• He never took up idoltry
• Zaid died 5 years before the Prophet (sws) starte
preaching
• Sayed idn Zaid is a son of Zaid but he was one
of the ten that was guarenteed Jannah
• When Sayed asked the Prophet about his father,
the Prophet said that Zaid will be raised as his
own Jannah and he will have two gardens
5. • Zaid is a one-man Ummah w/o any Prophet
• After Allah raised Isa(a), there were 3 major
understanding of Christianity:
– 1. Gnosticism
– 2. Jewish Christians: believed that they are Jews, that
they have to follow the rules of Musa(a). And
believed that Isa(a) was sent to the Jews as te
Messiah
– 3. Paulene Christians – after Paul- hes not an actual
disciple. He started a new theology – he made Jesus
a divine being. If you believe in Jesus, then there is
no Sharia.
6. • Christians were persecuted. Then all of a
sudden, the emperor converted to Christianity.
• Constantine decided that there should be a
dialogue and he wanted a paganistic element
of Christianity – concept of son of
God, December
25th, the halo, etc.
• He held the Council of Nicea à declares the
true Christianity is the Paulene Christianity
• He said all other Christians wrong and they
would be persecuted so these Christians fled

other classes of Christianity that we have now

10. • The Roman Empire banished Jewish Christianity
• We have remnants that the original Christianity
was saved
• Salman-al-Farsi à son of a fire-keeper (a priests
of Zoroastrianists). Salman would go to the fire
and keep lighting it up. One day, he saw a monk
with a different religion and he felt mesmerized.
The monk was a Christian. Then he eventually
learned about the monk and then converted.
• Zoroastrianists have to keep the fire going, they
can not create a new fire
11. • Salman had to flee because his dad locked him
up out of shame
• The monk was executed but the monk told him
don’t go to the main Roman place, to go to a
different monk that practiced the Jewish
Christians
• He had to switch monks multiple times, each
referred to the next. The fourth and last, said
there was no other person he knew that followed
the Jewish Christianity. But he was told that it is
close time to come for the Prophet (sws) to
come.
