3. • Qahtan  these were the original Arabs
– Qahtan was way before Adnan, they did not live
during the same time
• Adnan  is well-known
– Is the ancestor of the Prophet (sws)
– The Prophet is Adnani
– Adnan is a descendant of Prophet Ismail (a)
– Both Qahtan and Ibrahim(a) are Semites
– Ismail is not from Arabia. Ibrahim is from Iraq.
Ibrahim fled Iraq. Hajar is Eqyptian. Ismail is
ethnically from Iraq.

4. • Ismail is not Qahtani but marries into the
Qahtani so he starts speaking their language
(Arabic) and his children do as well. Then down
the line, is Adnan. There is like 7 to 10
generations between the two.
• Adnan comes and from Adnan all the Arab
tribes come forth. Quraish is one of the Adnani
tribes.
• Ismail had other tribes form from him that are
not Arab.
• The Prophet is in the 20th generation between
Adnan and himself.

5. • These Arabs became better at Arabic than the
orginal Arabs. This is because they settled at the
center of Arabia and all tribes had to go through
them, they became more eloquent, more
powerful, more prestigious than the Arab Al-
Ariba.

1. Under what class of Arabs does the Prophet
fall in to?
2. Explain the lineage of Adnan.
3. How did the Adnanis come to be better at
Arabic than the orginal Arabs?
