2. Background
Jesus is the central figure of Christianity, he is also known
as the Son of God.
He was born in Israel two thousands years ago. During
that time Israel was under Roman dictatorship.
• He lived his first thirty
years as a normal Jew,
working as a carpenter,
afterwards, he travelled a
lot and began to teach his
doctrines in public places.
3. Background
• He tried to keep a low profile, but his reputation
spread, so Roman governors and leaders of the Jewish
people took note of him.
He claimed to be the Son of
God, which was a violation of
the Jewish law. Therefore, the
religious leaders asked to
execute him, but the
government said that he didn’t
break any Roman law. Still the
religious leaders, persuaded
government to authorize his
execution. Jesus was brutally
tortured and then crucified
around 33 AD.
4. Background
• However, according to the Bible, he resurrected
three days later, and over the next 40 days
travelled throughout Israel. To many, this was the
proof that Jesus was the Son of God.
• After his resurrection, he left
Earth and arose up to the
sky.
5. Why does he inspired us?

society?
When he was alive, society started following him,
even people who did not know him. Men and
women travelled a lot, following his steps, and
went to the places he went, to hear him and learn
from him.

society?
At present time, people from all around the
world, take Jesus as an image they would like to
follow because of the values he taught and
established in Christianity.
That’s why 33.4 % of the world’s population is
Christian.
8. How does he changed the
world?

religion that was the most followed during a very
long period of time. At the present time, most
Latin-American countries are either Catholic or
Christian.

sins. He had to assume a horrible death to
accomplish this.
• He taught us about
values, God and love
between us, that are
the base of Christian
religion.
10. CONCLUSION
Like Jesus, there are many historical figures
that have inspired billions of people in many
different ways, some of these figures have
inspired them to study, to reach a goal, to
investigate, to fight for their rights, etc. We
think Jesus has inspired many of these figures
and has inspired us. From these historical
figures, we have to try to copy the positive
things they did, to make of ourselves better
persons.
