Masthead
Music can be
peoples inspiration
or muse
Extended play
extending your
knowledge of the
music industry
which can include
bands and artists
Keeping a record of
what is happening in
the music industry
with music
muse
EP Color scheme
I will keep the
magazine simple so
that it looks more
professional.
Some red but only
with certain parts of
the magazine in
order to draw
attention and stand
out
Target
audience
It would become a interest
to that category as the
magazine is rather simple
and the audience is mature
as they must be interested
in rock in roll
The main target
audience is C2 and E
frequency
Brand identity
Bold but effective
due to its
simplicity
The Masthead
should be located
near to the page
number therefor
making it easier to
see
Monthly
circulation
I would be able to
get more
information into
the magazine as
bands don’t tour
all of the time
which gives me
more time to write
about them

Masthead
I need to ensure
that my magazine
is inspiring to the
reader
I need to include
bonus information
which extends the
information in the
music industry
Once again I believe
that I should include
red with black in
order to make parts
of the magazine
stand out
I will also keep the
magazine simple to
make it easy to read and
identify information in
colours such as white
Monthly
circulation
Due to bands and
artists not touring
all the time I would
have more time in
order to include
more information
into the magazine
The Masthead
should be located at
the top of the
magazine as it
should be the first
thing to read
Simple but
effective as
it makes the
information
stand out
The main target
audience is C2 and
E
The audience
would need to be
mature and love
music
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday
The date of
publication will be
decided on this day
as well as everyone
will work together
in order to create a
schedule of the
work that needs to
be done.
The magazines
editing team will
be able to decide
what contents will
be going into the
magazine and
they will also
decide what ever
the biggest artist
or biggest
story/gossip is will
be the main
image on the
front cover.
At this point the
“external” and
“internal” writers
will decide what
content and
graphics that will go
into the magazine.
This is a vital part of
the magazine
productions as they
must look
professional and
relevant.

pages are
correct and in

At this stage the
layout staff will use
different programs
such as “InDesign” or
“PageMaker” in
order to type out and
set the layout of all
the pages of the
magazine. Then the
decided adverts from
different companies
get placed into the

the magazine makes

hard copy of the

read through it and see
if there are any issues
that need to be taken
care of. It is also
important that every
member of staff is
satisfied that there are
no errors within the
magazine, and if there
are they will be
corrected on a DTP file
done by editorial team.
This makes it a vital
stage as it ensures that
the content, layout and
final product meets the
satisfactory needs
before it heads out to
the general public.

In this final section the
printing company will
have finished printing
and will pack away the
magazines and send
them to the warehouse.
At the warehouse they
will get distributed and
sold to the public and
this is the point where
the public will get
access to the magazines
and be able to absorb
the information to do
with their favorite

I like these fonts for my Masthead because they are simple and bold in order to catch the
readers attention. Due to the fact that the fonts are bold makes it easy for the consumer to
see and recognize which magazine it is.Also the majority of these fonts link to the style of
music that will be inside the magazine.

In order to ensure that my magazines are high quality and include great content I have
decided to raise the salary by a couple thousand to ensure that the work in getting done and I
will ensure that the candidates will be worth the money I am willing to pay for them. As you
can see I have got a lot of different occupations for each job and this is to make sure that
everything is done to a great quality and it also helps to reduce stress for the workers as not
one of them has to do all the work.

I created this back page as a Holiday
advertisement page as this would
allow the readers to see the
advertisement that would have paid
the magazine company in order to be
into the magazine and advertise their
products to the readers.The simple
black and white background design
depicts what it is like on a Holiday in
Britain and it also helps by making the
yellow text on the page to look bright
on the page attracting the readers
attention to the text informing them
about the holiday.

I created this back page as a Holiday advertisement page as this would allow the readers to see the advertisement that would have paid the magazine company in order to be into the magazine and advertise their products to the readers. The simple black and white background design depicts what it is like on a Holiday in Britain and it also helps by making the yellow text on the page to look bright on the page attracting the readers attention to the text informing them about the holiday.
