Proposals (808)
These are my proposals for 808.
Within this I talk about what my
magazine includes and the
background of the magazine. I talk
about what audience I'm tying to
appeal to and the type of content
I'm going to include all the way to
the length of the magazine and
what size each page is going to be.
+
Proposals (TMM)
These are my proposals for my
second magazine TMM . Within this
I talk about what my magazine
includes and the background of the
magazine. I talk about what
audience I'm tying to appeal to and
the type of content I'm going to
include all the way to the length of
the magazine and what size each
page is going to be.
+ Target Audience
Gratifications and Uses (Katz)
According to Katz the audience for my magazines will be
able to ‘personally identify’ with the new artist ‘McChiznle’
as the target audience are young adults he is a new
upcoming artist who is always a young adult.
Furthermore the audience will be able to ‘divert’ (Katz)
away from everyday life situations and stresses by reading
this magazine as it will ‘inform and educate’ them on new
artists and up to date music information.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
According to Maslow the audience will be ‘survivors’ as
they will like the security and routine of knowing the
magazine will have some ‘repetition’ and ‘difference’ (Steve
Neale 1980) in every single issue.
+
Target Audience
Using the socio-economic needs my magazines should relate to categories B all the
way to E the categories include middle class, lower middle class, skilled working class,
working class and casual/lowest grade workers. The reason why it goes all the way to
E is because no matter what age you are, the music you listen to is whatever you
enjoy. However, the younger generation will suit this magazine more as the hip/hop,
rap and grime culture has its biggest following in the young generation. This also leads
on to the price in the fact that it is only £4.99 a month, this will suit as the younger
generation wont have much money to spend a lot of it on a magazine. Because my
audience are in category B it means they are in the working class, this means that
their spending power is going to be limited therefore I have to make the magazine
affordable.

Graphic Layout - 808
These are the graphic layouts for my chosen magazine (808). From this
I realised that from using Microsoft word to just make a better looking
version of my hand drawn drafts it’s a much cheaper alternative to
employing someone to make one for me.
+
Graphic Layout (DPS) - 808
These are my graphic layout versions of my double page spreads for my
chosen magazine 808. I have chosen the dps on the right because I feel it
will make my magazine look more tempting to read. I again used Microsoft
word for this because it’s a much more cheaper alternative to employing
someone to make it for me.
+
Graphic Layouts (TMM)
These are the graphic layouts for my 2nd magazine (TMM). From this I
realised that from using Microsoft word to just make a better looking
version of my hand drawn drafts it’s a much cheaper alternative to
employing someone to make one for me.

Hand drawn drafts
I created hand
drawn drafts so
it can help me
when creating
my magazine
front covers.
These are my
final front
covers and
DPS’ for 808
and TMM
magazine.
However, this
could change
slightly when
creating my
magazine.
+
Test Photography
This is my test photography. The reason in
which I have chose to do this is to see what
image will best suit my magazine because
this is going to be on the front cover of my
magazine and this is what the reader is
going to see first. The reason this photo is so
important is because this will depict the rest
of the magazine to the reader and will give
the the first impressions that is why I have to
chose what the best photo to make onto the
magazine. So by testing which poses and
looks by the artist look the best and what suit
the magazine I can then come to conclusion
and put the best looking photo onto my front
cover.

House Style and Colour Scheme
Colour Scheme – 808
Orange
The colour orange connotes a gold fill of the magazine. The reason I used this colour was because my
genre for the magazine is hip-hop/rap and will contain artists who love diamonds, gold and showing off all
of their money.
Black
The colour black was used to contrast with the gold so it llooked luxury and gave off a very hip-hop/rap
feel. I also makes the magazine stand out from all the others because they use colours like white and red
to grab peoples attention.
Colour Scheme – TMM
Blue
The colour blue is used because the magazine appeals mostly to men and the colour blue is mostly used
by the male gender. I have also used this colour because it connotes a neutral look to the magazine and
makes it look professional.
Red
The colour red contrasts with blue and makes the magazine stand out on the shelves. I also thought that
the colour red made the magazine look more aesthetically pleasing which could cause someone to pick it
up and give it a read.
+
Step by Step – Background & Cover
Lines
First of all I had to set up a canvas in A4 size. I then
created a background by using the ‘Gradient tool’ under
the ‘Bucket Tool’ icon. I also had to create a bleed(a
border around the edge of the page) using the ‘Ruler
Tool’.
I added on cover lines to the right and left
hand size of my page. To do this I made sure I
used the ruler tool and I used the text tool.
+ Step by Steps – Barcode &
Masthead
The next step I had to do was make the
barcode. I file placed the barcode in from
the conventions folder and then I imported
all my social media logos. To resize the
social media logos I had to hold down shift
and resize from a corner so the image did
not pixelate.
I then had to create a background
rectangle shape and fill it in black with the
bucket tool. I then used the text tool to
write in the name of my magazine. I added
a few filters on the text.
+
Step by Steps - Main Image &
Headline
I then used the ‘Quick Selection
Tool’ to crop the background out of
the main image and resized the
image by holding down shift and
resizing from the corner.
I then had to create the main headline.
For the ‘EXCLUSIVE’ bit I added a box
in the background and filled it in black.
For the text ‘MC CHIZNLE’ I added a
black stroke around the orange writing.
+
Step by Steps - Puff Promotion &
Strapline
I then had to create the puff promotion. I
used the internet to find a sticker shape
and used the bucket tool to fill in the shape
I then added text and placed in an image
of a ticket.
I used the text tool to add
in the strapline of my
magazine.
+ Target Audience for my magazines
Gratifications and Uses (Katz)
The audience will be ‘informed and educated’ by my music magazine. They will be educated on the music information and
new artists such as MC Chiznle the new artist. Furthermore, the audience will be ‘diverted’ from everyday situations by
reading this magazine as it will entertain them with articles and interviews.
Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs
The audience will be ‘social climbers’ as they will inspire to be like the artist on the front cover who will denote ‘star appeal’
(Richard Dyer).
Socio-economic needs
According to the socio-economic needs table the audience will fit in categories of E, D and C2 and C1. The audience will
be young and will like the hip-hop genre therefore some of these will be unemployed.
Hartley’s Seven Subjectivities
According to Hartley’s Seven Subjectivities the audience will be aged 16 – 30 year olds. Because the genre is informal as it
is hip-hop this will be more relevant to the younger audience.

DRAFT INTERVIEW
Hello, how are you?
I’m very good thanks, how your day been going?
It been going well mate, yourself?
Yeah not too bad thanks
It’s a week now until your album releases, what was your favourite song to make and why?
Goats and brogues because I like the beats, it gave me a chance to express my feelings on my favourite animal goats and my favourite shoe,
brogues.
Interesting, how long did it take you to make the album?
About 2 years as I had to write my own lyrics and make sure everything was mastered and perfect for when I release it to my fans.
Oh wow, so does that mean a tour is in the making?
Oh yes! Id love to go on tour! A world tour! Seeing all my fans from across the world and showing them an experience that they will never forget. Like,
I’m in there head day and night for ages.
Perfect! So does that mean a V.I.P ticket for me then? (laughing)
Maybe…(laughing) I'm sure we can sort something out
I'm a happy man (laughing) so what type of people do you listen to or look up to in the music industry and why?
Well It depends what mood I'm in really, if I'm sad then ill put some drake ,partynextdoor and asap rocky but if I'm ready to do something big like if I'm
about to go on stage then ill have someone like future or Tory Lanez to get me buzzing and ready to go out on stage and perform to my fans making
sure that they are having an amazing time as well as me. At the moment the person I look up to in the music industry is Justin Bieber, I feel like he is
just killing the game right now and is having the time of his life while doing it.
Okay, fair enough, I agree to be fair… So who really helped you to become who you are today?
I would probably say my family, I know that’s the most common answer but its true. If it wasn’t for my family wouldn’t be sitting here today doing an
interview with you today. Fact. My father especially believed that I had a talent in rapping and just helped me along my way deal with all the problems
that occurred in my life and he would give me a very mature answer to help me come across well and succeed in the music business.
Perfect answer (laughing) I'm sure hell be proud when listening to this interview, I mean that’s if he even looks at this interview (laughing)
(laughing) No, I'm sure he will look at this but maybe not today or tomorrow (laughing) actually he’ll probably just forget about it (laughing)
(laughing) Well if you are watching this M.C. Chiznle’s dad, then hello my names Harry and I'm talking to your brilliant son and he has just
rated you extremely highly
(laughing) I'm sure he’ll be happy with that Harry (laughing)
Well.. I think this Interview is over, it was nice talking to you M.C. Chaz and ill see you when those V.I.P tickets come through the door
(laughing)
Yes! I’ll we get them as soon as possible (laughing)
Thank you
Cheers Harry, its been a pleasure.

Different ways of marketing the
magazine
I am going to make a Facebook page for my chosen magazine as this
will be a cheap alternative to advertising above the line thought TV
adverts etc because I will not have the capital to fund it.
The price to advertise of Facebook for a day is £5, however, this may
only get you 5-30 clicks. The way in which advertising works on
facebook is the more money you pay, the more people see your advert.
Cost Per Click (CPC) – the cost for 1 click to your website
Cost Per Mille (CPM) – the cost for 1,000 impressions, or views of your
ad

Legal and Ethical Issues
Legal Issues
A way in which I can keep my magazine out of courts due to legal issues is by doing
what Bauer Medias used in which they wanted freelances who has work for them to
sign a contract which would take away their rights, this means that my magazine (808
or TMM) can use their work whenever they want without referencing anyone so they
cant lose money.
Ethical Issues
Definition; A problem or situation that requires a person or organization to choose
between alternatives that must be evaluated as right (ethical) or wrong (unethical).
By producing magazines, companies have rules in place that they have to follow once
it is published and sold that it will not cause offence or harm to any of the customers. A
rule n particular is that care must be taken to avoid causing offence to grounds of
race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. It will then be judged on its
context, audience, medium, product and its prevailing standards.
www.businessdictionary.com/definition/ethical-
issue.html
+
Copyright and IP
Definition; The exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator
for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record
literary, artistic, or musical material.
The copyright law changed in 1998, this means that photographer or
anyone else that has a major involvement a piece of work now have their
own rights for photocopying from a paer version and if a book is
reproduced then the person with major involves can claim because their
rights have been taken away
In Q magazine, there are a huge amount of copyright laws and even in
adverts you can see the copyright sign (which is normally a little c in the
corner and the date it was made). For example, if an imagine is used that

+
Watermark
If people want to use my photo then they have to give my
magazine credits otherwise they get fined. In order to stop this
from happening you have to watermark your photos, this means
that its extremely obvious who’s photo it is because it will have
the name of who took the photo spread across the picture. For
example, below this text book I have made my own watermarked
photo for the 808 magazine front cover picture, this means
people can either use this photo with the watermark or pay to use
it with the watermark.
+
Data Protection Act 1988
Data Protection Act
This act is very important to have protected but the data protection act
protects any information that is personal held within the business. The rules
of data protection are that it is used fair and completely, this is extremely
important for the company to be kept in a safe place because someone's life
can affect Bauer Media and Q magazine and all the workers that are
included in the business should have their own privacy within the company.
Also, a point that should be made clear to everyone is health and safety as
everyone within the business needs to make sure that they know how to use
all of the equipment correctly so there is less chance of any harmful acts
happening to them.
+ IPSO Editors Code of Practice
The editors code of practice are rules set up that newspapers
and magazines regulated by IPSO have agreed to follow. It
contains 1-16 categories in which rules are implied that vary
from whether or not the articles accurate to serious stories
such as reporting suicides or children in sex cases. The
newspaper needs to conform these laws in order to get their
newspaper published, this means following the rules when
covering a certain genre in your article, such as, if the
newspaper is writing up an article on children in sex cases,
which would normally be covered in The Mirror because they
focus on the serious genre. They have to follow the following
rules which are; The child's name should never be identified
however the adult may have their name used in the article and
also care must be taken that nothing in the report implies the
relationship between the accused and the child. If the
newspaper follows these rules then their newspaper can be
published and sent to the public.

of-practice/

are covered in the editors
code of practice

Calendar Events
There is no events that are due that will get in the way of my
magazine release day, this is because festivals and other music
related shows usually take place in the summer because of the
weather whereas I'm releasing the magazine in January where it
will be extremely cold weather, however, if I festival becomes in
place at winter then I will just cover it in my magazine and
therefore it will create more content for the reader, it may also
create more sales because people may want to find out more
about the festival.

Unit 13 LO3 - 10TH JAN

  • 1. +
  • 2. + Proposals (808) These are my proposals for 808. Within this I talk about what my magazine includes and the background of the magazine. I talk about what audience I'm tying to appeal to and the type of content I'm going to include all the way to the length of the magazine and what size each page is going to be.
  • 3. + Proposals (TMM) These are my proposals for my second magazine TMM . Within this I talk about what my magazine includes and the background of the magazine. I talk about what audience I'm tying to appeal to and the type of content I'm going to include all the way to the length of the magazine and what size each page is going to be.
  • 4. + Target Audience Gratifications and Uses (Katz) According to Katz the audience for my magazines will be able to ‘personally identify’ with the new artist ‘McChiznle’ as the target audience are young adults he is a new upcoming artist who is always a young adult. Furthermore the audience will be able to ‘divert’ (Katz) away from everyday life situations and stresses by reading this magazine as it will ‘inform and educate’ them on new artists and up to date music information. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs According to Maslow the audience will be ‘survivors’ as they will like the security and routine of knowing the magazine will have some ‘repetition’ and ‘difference’ (Steve Neale 1980) in every single issue.
  • 5. + Target Audience Using the socio-economic needs my magazines should relate to categories B all the way to E the categories include middle class, lower middle class, skilled working class, working class and casual/lowest grade workers. The reason why it goes all the way to E is because no matter what age you are, the music you listen to is whatever you enjoy. However, the younger generation will suit this magazine more as the hip/hop, rap and grime culture has its biggest following in the young generation. This also leads on to the price in the fact that it is only £4.99 a month, this will suit as the younger generation wont have much money to spend a lot of it on a magazine. Because my audience are in category B it means they are in the working class, this means that their spending power is going to be limited therefore I have to make the magazine affordable.
  • 6. + Graphic Layout - 808 These are the graphic layouts for my chosen magazine (808). From this I realised that from using Microsoft word to just make a better looking version of my hand drawn drafts it’s a much cheaper alternative to employing someone to make one for me.
  • 7. + Graphic Layout (DPS) - 808 These are my graphic layout versions of my double page spreads for my chosen magazine 808. I have chosen the dps on the right because I feel it will make my magazine look more tempting to read. I again used Microsoft word for this because it’s a much more cheaper alternative to employing someone to make it for me.
  • 8. + Graphic Layouts (TMM) These are the graphic layouts for my 2nd magazine (TMM). From this I realised that from using Microsoft word to just make a better looking version of my hand drawn drafts it’s a much cheaper alternative to employing someone to make one for me.
  • 9. + Graphic Layouts (DPS) (TMM) These are my graphic layout versions of my double page spreads for my second magazine TMM. I have chosen the dps on the right because I feel it will make my magazine look more tempting to read. I again used Microsoft word for this because it’s a much more cheaper alternative to employing someone to make it for me.
  • 10. + Hand drawn drafts I created hand drawn drafts so it can help me when creating my magazine front covers. These are my final front covers and DPS’ for 808 and TMM magazine. However, this could change slightly when creating my magazine.
  • 11. + Test Photography This is my test photography. The reason in which I have chose to do this is to see what image will best suit my magazine because this is going to be on the front cover of my magazine and this is what the reader is going to see first. The reason this photo is so important is because this will depict the rest of the magazine to the reader and will give the the first impressions that is why I have to chose what the best photo to make onto the magazine. So by testing which poses and looks by the artist look the best and what suit the magazine I can then come to conclusion and put the best looking photo onto my front cover.
  • 17. + House Style and Colour Scheme Colour Scheme – 808 Orange The colour orange connotes a gold fill of the magazine. The reason I used this colour was because my genre for the magazine is hip-hop/rap and will contain artists who love diamonds, gold and showing off all of their money. Black The colour black was used to contrast with the gold so it llooked luxury and gave off a very hip-hop/rap feel. I also makes the magazine stand out from all the others because they use colours like white and red to grab peoples attention. Colour Scheme – TMM Blue The colour blue is used because the magazine appeals mostly to men and the colour blue is mostly used by the male gender. I have also used this colour because it connotes a neutral look to the magazine and makes it look professional. Red The colour red contrasts with blue and makes the magazine stand out on the shelves. I also thought that the colour red made the magazine look more aesthetically pleasing which could cause someone to pick it up and give it a read.
  • 18. + Step by Step – Background & Cover Lines First of all I had to set up a canvas in A4 size. I then created a background by using the ‘Gradient tool’ under the ‘Bucket Tool’ icon. I also had to create a bleed(a border around the edge of the page) using the ‘Ruler Tool’. I added on cover lines to the right and left hand size of my page. To do this I made sure I used the ruler tool and I used the text tool.
  • 19. + Step by Steps – Barcode & Masthead The next step I had to do was make the barcode. I file placed the barcode in from the conventions folder and then I imported all my social media logos. To resize the social media logos I had to hold down shift and resize from a corner so the image did not pixelate. I then had to create a background rectangle shape and fill it in black with the bucket tool. I then used the text tool to write in the name of my magazine. I added a few filters on the text.
  • 20. + Step by Steps - Main Image & Headline I then used the ‘Quick Selection Tool’ to crop the background out of the main image and resized the image by holding down shift and resizing from the corner. I then had to create the main headline. For the ‘EXCLUSIVE’ bit I added a box in the background and filled it in black. For the text ‘MC CHIZNLE’ I added a black stroke around the orange writing.
  • 21. + Step by Steps - Puff Promotion & Strapline I then had to create the puff promotion. I used the internet to find a sticker shape and used the bucket tool to fill in the shape I then added text and placed in an image of a ticket. I used the text tool to add in the strapline of my magazine.
  • 22. + Target Audience for my magazines Gratifications and Uses (Katz) The audience will be ‘informed and educated’ by my music magazine. They will be educated on the music information and new artists such as MC Chiznle the new artist. Furthermore, the audience will be ‘diverted’ from everyday situations by reading this magazine as it will entertain them with articles and interviews. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs The audience will be ‘social climbers’ as they will inspire to be like the artist on the front cover who will denote ‘star appeal’ (Richard Dyer). Socio-economic needs According to the socio-economic needs table the audience will fit in categories of E, D and C2 and C1. The audience will be young and will like the hip-hop genre therefore some of these will be unemployed. Hartley’s Seven Subjectivities According to Hartley’s Seven Subjectivities the audience will be aged 16 – 30 year olds. Because the genre is informal as it is hip-hop this will be more relevant to the younger audience.
  • 23. + DRAFT INTERVIEW Hello, how are you? I’m very good thanks, how your day been going? It been going well mate, yourself? Yeah not too bad thanks It’s a week now until your album releases, what was your favourite song to make and why? Goats and brogues because I like the beats, it gave me a chance to express my feelings on my favourite animal goats and my favourite shoe, brogues. Like, I’m in there head day and night for ages. Perfect! So does that mean a V.I.P ticket for me then? (laughing) Maybe…(laughing) I'm sure we can sort something out I'm a happy man (laughing) so what type of people do you listen to or look up to in the music industry and why? Well It depends what mood I'm in really, if I'm sad then ill put some drake ,partynextdoor and asap rocky but if I'm ready to do something big like if I'm about to go on stage then ill have someone like future or Tory Lanez to get me buzzing and ready to go out on stage and perform to my fans making sure that they are having an amazing time as well as me. At the moment the person I look up to in the music industry is Justin Bieber, I feel like he is just killing the game right now and is having the time of his life while doing it. Okay, fair enough, I agree to be fair… So who really helped you to become who you are today? I would probably say my family, I know that’s the most common answer but its true. If it wasn’t for my family wouldn’t be sitting here today doing an interview with you today. Fact. My father especially believed that I had a talent in rapping and just helped me along my way deal with all the problems that occurred in my life and he would give me a very mature answer to help me come across well and succeed in the music business. Perfect answer (laughing) I'm sure hell be proud when listening to this interview, I mean that’s if he even looks at this interview (laughing) (laughing) No, I'm sure he will look at this but maybe not today or tomorrow (laughing) actually he’ll probably just forget about it (laughing) (laughing) Well if you are watching this M.C. Chiznle’s dad, then hello my names Harry and I'm talking to your brilliant son and he has just rated you extremely highly (laughing) I'm sure he’ll be happy with that Harry (laughing) Well.. I think this Interview is over, it was nice talking to you M.C. Chaz and ill see you when those V.I.P tickets come through the door (laughing) Yes! I’ll we get them as soon as possible (laughing) Thank you Cheers Harry, its been a pleasure.

Within this table, I found out the cheapest price for that certain product then used it.
  • 26. + Printing costs of the Magazine In this screenshot I have shown you how much money 15,000 copies of my 40 page magazine will cost. The cost per issue is 38p.

  • 28. + Different ways of marketing the magazine I am going to make a Facebook page for my chosen magazine as this will be a cheap alternative to advertising above the line thought TV adverts etc because I will not have the capital to fund it. The price to advertise of Facebook for a day is £5, however, this may only get you 5-30 clicks. The way in which advertising works on facebook is the more money you pay, the more people see your advert. Cost Per Click (CPC) – the cost for 1 click to your website Cost Per Mille (CPM) – the cost for 1,000 impressions, or views of your ad
  • 29. + Profit and loss Advertising Revenue £1,212,000 Sales £74,850 Total £1,286,850 Expenses Equipment £38,884 Staff £270,000 Printing £6,983 Advertising £3,640 Total 319,507 Net Profit (Income – Expenses) £ 967,343 This is the profit and Loss table. Within this table it puts together all of my income and takes away all of my expenses which altogether gives my net profit and that’s how much I have earnt in the first year of my magazine publishing.
  • 30. + Legal and Ethical Issues Legal Issues A way in which I can keep my magazine out of courts due to legal issues is by doing what Bauer Medias used in which they wanted freelances who has work for them to sign a contract which would take away their rights, this means that my magazine (808 or TMM) can use their work whenever they want without referencing anyone so they cant lose money. Ethical Issues Definition; A problem or situation that requires a person or organization to choose between alternatives that must be evaluated as right (ethical) or wrong (unethical). By producing magazines, companies have rules in place that they have to follow once it is published and sold that it will not cause offence or harm to any of the customers. A rule n particular is that care must be taken to avoid causing offence to grounds of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age. It will then be judged on its context, audience, medium, product and its prevailing standards. www.businessdictionary.com/definition/ethical- issue.html
  • 31. + Copyright and IP Definition; The exclusive and assignable legal right, given to the originator for a fixed number of years, to print, publish, perform, film, or record literary, artistic, or musical material. The copyright law changed in 1998, this means that photographer or anyone else that has a major involvement a piece of work now have their own rights for photocopying from a paer version and if a book is reproduced then the person with major involves can claim because their rights have been taken away In Q magazine, there are a huge amount of copyright laws and even in adverts you can see the copyright sign (which is normally a little c in the corner and the date it was made). For example, if an imagine is used that http://www.dictionary.com/browse/co pyright
  • 32. + Watermark If people want to use my photo then they have to give my magazine credits otherwise they get fined. In order to stop this from happening you have to watermark your photos, this means that its extremely obvious who’s photo it is because it will have the name of who took the photo spread across the picture. For example, below this text book I have made my own watermarked photo for the 808 magazine front cover picture, this means people can either use this photo with the watermark or pay to use it with the watermark.
  • 33. + Data Protection Act 1988 Data Protection Act This act is very important to have protected but the data protection act protects any information that is personal held within the business. The rules of data protection are that it is used fair and completely, this is extremely important for the company to be kept in a safe place because someone's life can affect Bauer Media and Q magazine and all the workers that are included in the business should have their own privacy within the company. Also, a point that should be made clear to everyone is health and safety as everyone within the business needs to make sure that they know how to use all of the equipment correctly so there is less chance of any harmful acts happening to them.
  • 34. + IPSO Editors Code of Practice The editors code of practice are rules set up that newspapers and magazines regulated by IPSO have agreed to follow. It contains 1-16 categories in which rules are implied that vary from whether or not the articles accurate to serious stories such as reporting suicides or children in sex cases. The newspaper needs to conform these laws in order to get their newspaper published, this means following the rules when covering a certain genre in your article, such as, if the newspaper is writing up an article on children in sex cases, which would normally be covered in The Mirror because they focus on the serious genre. They have to follow the following rules which are; The child's name should never be identified however the adult may have their name used in the article and also care must be taken that nothing in the report implies the relationship between the accused and the child. If the newspaper follows these rules then their newspaper can be published and sent to the public. https://www.ipso.co.uk/editors-code- of-practice/ The 16 categories in which are covered in the editors code of practice
  • 35. + Calendar Events There is no events that are due that will get in the way of my magazine release day, this is because festivals and other music related shows usually take place in the summer because of the weather whereas I'm releasing the magazine in January where it will be extremely cold weather, however, if I festival becomes in place at winter then I will just cover it in my magazine and therefore it will create more content for the reader, it may also create more sales because people may want to find out more about the festival.
  • 36. + 808 Front Cover and DPS
  • 37. + TMM Front Cover and DPS

Editor's Notes

  1. WRITE DOWN WHAT THE COLOURS CONNOTE AND WHY YOU HAVE USED THEM The colour orange connotes….. And then talk about how it fits in with your magazine and the hip-hop genre
