Firststartingoff by a differentclosedquestion,thisisasimple reassurance thatwe are makingthe
rightlinkswithinourplanningof ThreeSeven.Andthereforewe canlookmore intoactionas a genre
to applyto our personal preferences.We thenelaboratedourquestionbyaskinghow,byasking
howwe’dexpecttoreada response of linkingwe coulduptake fromouraudience.Byusinglinks
theymake we couldput throughthemwithin ourtwominutestoappeal towhat our audience think;
to satisfythem.Forexample,one responsewas“Sortof they’re bothquick,snappywithgunsand
goodiesandbaddies.”Thusbyreadingthiswe discussedtoincludeweaponryinourshorttwo
minutestocreate an atmosphere of fearthroughoutourshotsand hopefullyhave aneffectonour
audience.Insome aspectsyouhave tostickto action stereotypes,andconsiderthe traditional
conventions.We hadtoconsiderthe snappyandquickshotsthat shouldtake place duringshooting,
and thisthenhavinga knockon effectonproduction. Quickshotsthattransitioninaspeedyform
helpbuildachaoticfeeling;afeelingof alotgoingon in the plotso thatour audience doesn’tget
bred(whichwasalsomentionedinQuestionnaire responses).Anotherresponse replied,“Yes,as
fightingcrime isquicketc.”WhichalsoaidedPAJProductionsinthe certaintyof fastshotswitching
and,withinediting,how shortwe’dhave tocutthe camera shots.
4. What do you think of the youngergenerationinthe UK?
We onlychose toask about the youngergenerationinthe UKdue to our filmbeingplannedtobe
setin the UK, and stickingtothe stereotypesof the UKsetting.Thisissowe can speaktoand appeal
to our audience in abettermore personal way,toget more of a sympatheticorrelative response. In
additiontothis,certainresponseswe gotwere like“All mischievousandcanbe ignorantat time.”
Whichis a clearmisunderstanding(inouropinion) whichiswhywe chose toprovoke thisresponse
inor filmandshowa victimtogun crime and how teenagersoryoungsterscangetstuck insuch
crime and troublesomescenes.Yetwe still keptthe responseandconsideredthe stereotype,
includingyoungsterswiththe unpredictable guncrime thatanyone cangethurt! One shotmay link
to technologyof todaywhenteensare alwaysontheirphones:one charactercouldalwaysbe on
theirphone orthe use of the phone prop wouldneedtobe included.Showingthe trendfollowing;
to add to understandingandrelevance.
5. How many actionfilmsdoyouwatch permonth?
Withmajorityof responsesanswers3-4we had to make sure if actin wasa right road to take.Maybe
people are losinginterestinactionfilmsandmaynotappeal toour filmas muchas we expected.
Andthisis whywe askedthisquestion.¾actionfilmsamonthwe thoughtwas relativelyokay for
the average person.Some were more,some were less.Thisquestionswasaquickfire,check-up
questiontomake sure usas a groupare goinginthe rightdirectionof choicesingenre.
The followingquestionsare more productive inwhatouraudience wouldlike tosee,togeta wider
varietyof whattheythinkintheirownimaginationandminds…!

Firststartingoff by a differentclosedquestion,thisisasimple reassurance thatwe are makingthe rightlinkswithinourplanningof ThreeSeven.Andthereforewe canlookmore intoactionas a genre to applyto our personal preferences.We thenelaboratedourquestionbyaskinghow,byasking howwe’dexpecttoreada response of linkingwe coulduptake fromouraudience.Byusinglinks theymake we couldput throughthemwithin ourtwominutestoappeal towhat our audience think; to satisfythem.Forexample,one responsewas“Sortof they’re bothquick,snappywithgunsand goodiesandbaddies.”Thusbyreadingthiswe discussedtoincludeweaponryinourshorttwo minutestocreate an atmosphere of fearthroughoutourshotsand hopefullyhave aneffectonour audience.Insome aspectsyouhave tostickto action stereotypes,andconsiderthe traditional conventions.We hadtoconsiderthe snappyandquickshotsthat shouldtake place duringshooting, and thisthenhavinga knockon effectonproduction. Quickshotsthattransitioninaspeedyform helpbuildachaoticfeeling;afeelingof alotgoingon in the plotso thatour audience doesn’tget bred(whichwasalsomentionedinQuestionnaire responses).Anotherresponse replied,“Yes,as fightingcrime isquicketc.”WhichalsoaidedPAJProductionsinthe certaintyof fastshotswitching and,withinediting,how shortwe’dhave tocutthe camera shots. 4. What do you think of the youngergenerationinthe UK? We onlychose toask about the youngergenerationinthe UKdue to our filmbeingplannedtobe setin the UK, and stickingtothe stereotypesof the UKsetting.Thisissowe can speaktoand appeal to our audience in abettermore personal way,toget more of a sympatheticorrelative response. In additiontothis,certainresponseswe gotwere like“All mischievousandcanbe ignorantat time.” Whichis a clearmisunderstanding(inouropinion) whichiswhywe chose toprovoke thisresponse inor filmandshowa victimtogun crime and how teenagersoryoungsterscangetstuck insuch crime and troublesomescenes.Yetwe still keptthe responseandconsideredthe stereotype, includingyoungsterswiththe unpredictable guncrime thatanyone cangethurt!
