Firstof all,the age selectionof 16-40 was a primaryaudience choice.Howeveroursecondary
audience wasbe all ages,as a mediaproductwouldreallywantasmuch audience relativityas
possible.Byfocusingonthisage range ithelpedussetboundariesof whatwe couldshow inour2
minutes.Furthermore,startingyoungat16, but notlower,isbecause ourcharacters within
ThreeSevenare ata youngage inour 2 minutes.Bothcharactersbeingbetween16and 19. So
startingat thispointallowedusasa productiongrouptoallow the audience tobegintorelate and
the furtherage ranges (anincrease onage) isa sense of representingyoungster’slifestyles.
Therefore itisthe matterof showingrealisationandrelationtoeitherprovokeorhelpthe audience
sympathise;eitherwaykeepinganaudience’sattention.
Secondly,the factthatThreeSevenismainlyaimedatthe male genderisbecause there istiny

the relationsof stigma.Withinnewsresearchtodayyoudon’tsee orhearof manyfemale teenage
or evenfemale guncrime incidents.Bywantingourfilmtobe the mostrelative tonowadaysandthe
bestrealismpossible we thoughtourchoice of audience hadtodepictthis.Moreover,byjustusing
male charactersit couldonlypossiblyattracta male relationanda widermale audience.
By addressingthe ‘Blue Collar’audience group,of plumbers,carpenters,itsuggeststhe more hands
on more masculine audience choice.We chose thisbecause ourfilmhasamore masculine approach
to it.With majoritymale characters;male clothing;stereotypical male guncrime all seemsmasculine
whichgoesalongside thesejobs.
We alsotargetedtothose that are unemployedandinmaybe social housing,asthisisthe settingof
our filmandideologyof ThreeSeven.ByaddressingourMise-En-Scene use of settingandcostumes
we chose to mirror ouraudience inthe filminexpectationitwill attractandmostcertainlyaddress!
In conclusion,all audience groupsare attractedandaddressedbymakingrelationsbystereotypesof
today’ssociety,butindifferentsectorstokeepvariety.We attractedouraudience throughpossible
exaggerationof whatisseentoday,andmeetingstereotypical expectationsof youngstersingang
crime for provokinganinterestinourchosenaudience.
