FMP idea?
My FMP idea is tocreate an American football
magazine.
Why have youdecided to makeit? I love American football since beginningto watch
it, it has quickly become my favourite sport. I’ve
begunplaying it andrecently lookedinto the NFL
academy.
What aboutyourproject makesit importantto
you?
Since 2017 I have lovedall thingsAmerican
Football, whether it be readingby magazines,
articles or interviews, watchingYouTube videos,
playingthe video game called Maddenoreven
going outwith friends with a ball and beginningto
become a really goodquarterback.
Outline someof the initial influences onyour
idea/work and somepotential research targets
(remember, research isn’t justa paperbased
activity)
My aim research targetsare any popular
magazines aboutthe sportbut alsoto use my
knowledge of the sport to help me. Magazines
thatI like are Gridiron and ProFootball Illustrated.
These magazinesare always near the topof the
list when youare lookingat NFL magazines.
Gridiron is also on YouTube, soI first found it via
thatthen foundthe magazine andhave always
tried to see each edition thatis released. Pro
Footballillustrated I foundvia PFT (pro football
talk) and thenresearched it andstarted looking
into it more andmore and thentried tokeep an
eye on it. Bothare very good, andbothhave
helped me develop my knowledgeon the sport
andhave also taughtme aboutthe different
elements required to be in the sport.
I’dalso say tuninginto NFL Redzoneduringthe
seasonto watch all the game andlisten to Scott
Hansontalk throughtheevents thathave just
takenplace in the game and listening tohim talk
in detail helped me buildmy knowledgeup bit by
bit.
What effect do youwant to haveon your
audience when they see yourproject?
I want to havethe effect whether people who
may not knowanythingor very little aboutthe
sportare thengiven more knowledge aboutthe
sportand howit works. I planon usingan
introductiontohow the league became a thing
andhow it as changedover the years. Have
informationon two teamsto explain their history
andsuccess, talk abouttheNFL draft, andjust
really try to showall the brilliance that the NFL
offers to people. Getting people to understand
the game can sometimesbe the main aim so
getting people understandhowthe game works
andis playedis my mainaim.
Describe the tone/mood/styleofyourproject
[which productiontechniques/characteristicsare
youemploying?]
I’mgoing totry use a positive toneand mood
while usinga stylethat is an influence tohelp
educate people aboutthe sport.
The mood is going to be positiveand in order to
do soI am going touse bright andcheerful
colours, bold fontsthatare easily readable, good
strongpictures andreally makesure I get the
pointacross andreally makesure the moodis up
andits goodtoread.
A magazineshouldbe upbeatand havea tone
thatthroughoutisrepeated butshowedin a
different way.
So when I amusing photoshoptocreate my front
cover or producean article I want colour, bold
easy toread text andjust create a tone which is
bright andupbeatand carry thatone tone until
the back page.
Why have youdecided to makeyour project in
this style?
They say every day is a schoolday so I want to
teach abouta sport I love and always wantto try
explain and help themlearn andget somemore
understandingaboutthesport. Learning new
thingsis apart of life andto me learning about
new hobbiesand so oncan really help your
mental health andreally boostyouandhelp you
overcomecertain issuesin life. Evenjust having
one hobby duringhardtimes in extremely helpful
for your mentalhealth and it meansyouhave
friends who could also get interested in the sport
so that’swhy I am presentingthis the way I am.

Since 2017 I have lovedall thingsAmerican Football, whether it be readingby magazines, articles or interviews, watchingYouTube videos, playingthe video game called Maddenoreven going outwith friends with a ball and beginningto become a really goodquarterback. Magazines thatI like are Gridiron and ProFootball Illustrated. These magazinesare always near the topof the list when youare lookingat NFL magazines. Gridiron is also on YouTube, soI first found it via thatthen foundthe magazine andhave always tried to see each edition thatis released. Pro Footballillustrated I foundvia PFT (pro football talk) and thenresearched it andstarted looking into it more andmore and thentried tokeep an eye on it. Bothare very good, andbothhave helped me develop my knowledgeon the sport andhave also taughtme aboutthe different elements required to be in the sport. I’dalso say tuninginto NFL Redzoneduringthe seasonto watch all the game andlisten to Scott Hansontalk throughtheevents thathave just takenplace in the game and listening tohim talk in detail helped me buildmy knowledgeup bit by bit. I want to havethe effect whether people who may not knowanythingor very little aboutthe sportare thengiven more knowledge aboutthe sportand howit works. A magazineshouldbe upbeatand havea tone thatthroughoutisrepeated butshowedin a different way. So when I amusing photoshoptocreate my front cover or producean article I want colour, bold easy toread text andjust create a tone which is bright andupbeatand carry thatone tone until the back page. Why have youdecided to makeyour project in this style? They say every day is a schoolday so I want to teach abouta sport I love and always wantto try explain and help themlearn andget somemore understandingaboutthesport. Learning new thingsis apart of life andto me learning about new hobbiesand so oncan really help your mental health andreally boostyouandhelp you overcomecertain issuesin life.
