This document summarizes a virtual event about movies and mental health. It introduces the facilitator, Marlene Padron, and describes the event agenda which includes setting the scene, watching and discussing short films, and a panel discussion. The facilitator establishes guidelines for an open and supportive discussion. Participants then engage in group reflections on movies portraying mental illness, stigma, cultural perspectives, and self-care practices. The event includes mindfulness exercises, short film screenings, and a question and answer session with a panel of mental health professionals. Participants are encouraged to provide feedback and sign up for future events.
