3. Introduction
Light, electromagnetic radiation that can be detected
by the human eye. Light enables us to see the world
around us. Our sense of sight provides us with direct
information about space and time, the physical
arrangement of the world, and how it changes.

Activity 1: Light and their spectra
We built spectroscope to analyze
spectrum of different light source.
Activity 2: Observing diffraction
We observed diffraction of waves
through variety of mediums such
as water waves.

Interference is the effect of two or
more waves moving through the
same place at the same time.
Activity 4: Observing Iridescence
There are two main types of structures
that create the colors observed in
iridescence:
1- Thin Film interference
2- Surface structure
7. Introduction
One of the problems facing rescue vehicles in emergency
situations is the traffic congestion which is the reason
for:
1- Ambulance delay resulting in deterioration of the
patient.
2- Delay the fire vehicles to get to the specified area in
time.
3- delay the police cars to reach the specified location to
solve the problem in time.
In these cases we must find the appropriate solution to
this problem is to create a light signal (rescue signal),
which helps to facilitate the way to reach cars on time.
8. Aim of the project
To help rescue cars reach to their destination on time
by guiding the cars on the streets to help the rescue
cars to pass easily through the roads.

Hypothesis: ()الفرضية
• The signal will glow indicating the need to make a
space for the rescue cars to pass through the traffic
jam in the streets making it easy for the rescue cars
to reach to their destination on time.

Methods and Materials
• We sculptured the sign in the acrylic sheet.
• We connected the LED light to the acrylic sheet.
• Once a remote (transmitter) is pressed, the receiver
in the sign will turn on the light.

1- The arrival of the ambulance quickly causes the patient
to quickly process
2- The fire engine quickly arrives at the specified location .
3- Arrive the police car to the specified location quickly to
solve the problem

Recommendations: ()التوصيات
The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)
and the National Traffic Safety Committee (NTSC)
should work together to reduce the road accident and
decongest traffic jams, we recommend that once the
rescue signal is received the traffic signal in the
opposite directions it will stop and road will open for
smooth flow

Conclusions
It is an easy idea to apply and we believe that this
idea should be applied in Qatar and around the
world to help rescue vehicles reach their
destination as soon as possible.
