The document outlines activities from a science fair project on light manipulation at the nanoscale. It describes 4 activities:
1) Observing light spectra using a homemade spectroscope.
2) Demonstrating diffraction of water waves passing obstacles and openings.
3) Simulating and observing interference of light waves, including constructive and destructive interference.
4) Examining iridescence in peacock feathers and soap bubbles caused by structural coloration.
It proposes glowing street signs as a product idea to better illuminate signs at night for safety and proposes further inventions and improvements for future projects.

How to Make a Field invisible in Odoo 17Celine George
It is possible to hide or invisible some fields in odoo. Commonly using “invisible” attribute in the field definition to invisible the fields. This slide will show how to make a field invisible in odoo 17.
Instructions for Submissions thorugh G- Classroom.pptxJheel Barad
This presentation provides a briefing on how to upload submissions and documents in Google Classroom. It was prepared as part of an orientation for new Sainik School in-service teacher trainees. As a training officer, my goal is to ensure that you are comfortable and proficient with this essential tool for managing assignments and fostering student engagement.
How to Create Map Views in the Odoo 17 ERPCeline George
The map views are useful for providing a geographical representation of data. They allow users to visualize and analyze the data in a more intuitive manner.
Palestine last event orientationfvgnh .pptxRaedMohamed3
An EFL lesson about the current events in Palestine. It is intended to be for intermediate students who wish to increase their listening skills through a short lesson in power point.
The Indian economy is classified into different sectors to simplify the analysis and understanding of economic activities. For Class 10, it's essential to grasp the sectors of the Indian economy, understand their characteristics, and recognize their importance. This guide will provide detailed notes on the Sectors of the Indian Economy Class 10, using specific long-tail keywords to enhance comprehension.

2024.06.01 Introducing a competency framework for languag learning materials ...Sandy Millin
http://sandymillin.wordpress.com/iateflwebinar2024
Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Introduction to Light
Activity 1: Lights and their Spectra
Activity 2: Observing Diffraction
Part 1 : diffraction in water waves
Activity 3: Observing Interference
Part 1 : two part simulation
Part 2 : making interference
Activity 4: Observing Iridescence
Part 1 : peacock feather
Part 2 : bubble soup
Product Idea: Glowing Street Signs
3. INTRODUCTION TO LIGHT
• Light is an energy with a large radiation or so-called
electromagnetic radiation, and the length of the optical wave
between 400 nm and 700 nm.
4. ACTIVITY 1: LIGHTS AND THEIR
SPECTRA
• Objective : observe the light spectra
• Procedure :the scissors , paper , CD , stiplar , the circular
5. ACTIVITY 1: LIGHTS AND THEIR
SPECTRA
The spectroscope showed us a beautiful spectrum that was worth
its preparations and we built the spectroscope ourselves by using
simple object like a CD-R and a black paper and a cone shaped
object
6. ACTIVITY 2: OBSERVING
DIFFRACTION
In this activity we wanted to generate water waves and observe
them passing around a barrier and through an opening and see an
example of diffractions • Conclusion : We saw a very good example
of diffraction and we learned that diffraction happens when any
object blocks the way of a wave.
8. ACTIVITY 3: OBSERVING
INTERFERENCE
Making Interference Transparent. Result : We found that white
color constrictive interference, black color is destructive, when two
waves interfere with each other
9. ACTIVITY 3: OBSERVING
INTERFERENCE
Wave generator(Mechanical wave) . Antinode : a point at which the
amplitude of one of the two kinds of displacement in a standing
wave. node: is a centering point of component parts.
10. ACTIVITY 4: OBSERVING
IRIDESCENCE
•We wanted to observe how iridescence happens so we tried the
observing peacock feathers which are know for their iridescence
property • Conclusion : We learned that
12. • Our invention is a light behind the signs and this light will
help to see more clearly at night and that this light will
give light to people and so will facilitate their work faster
and easier
• Ourinterest in the project is to explore something new that
benefits the community
• What attracted me to the project is to pay attention to
people who have the ability to explore new things that
have a great benefit to society
• The benefit of our project which was explored is to put
lights behind the banners that we see in the street so that
attention to them more and more at night
• The goal of the project is to work a project that will
increase people attention and focus more and try to
explore more project

Title: Glowing Street Signs
13. GLOWING STREET SIGNS
RECOMMENDATIONS
• Of the proposals to be used in the streets or on occasion such as concerts and
others
• We may have other inventions and other products
• We encountered simple problems because of the wheel and the time was not very
sufficient because we had started work on the project late
