2. Process
To create this magazine, I first took a plain
image of a river with the water splashing
everywhere. I the inserted a image of a fish
and used the magic wand tool to crop out
the back ground of the image, this left me
with just the fish, and it enabled me to be
able to insert the fish into the middle of the
lake, and then used the stamp tool, to
cover the fishes tail to make it look like the
fish is jumping out of the water.
For the, main headline of the magazine I
chose to edit the blending options of the
text, I added a bevel and emboss, I did this
so that the text stood out was a lot easier
to read for the target audience
3. Process
To create this my own
version of the magazine on
the left, I first started by
inserting one image into the
middle of the page, I then
made and copied from the
other magazine around the
image. I then made the logo
at the top of the page by
cutting out blocks and
altering text to give the
effect that the writing has
been cut out.
The hardest part to making this magazine was making and positioning the text at the bottom
of the page “turning back the clocks” this was hard because there was a lot of many different
angles of words, two different colours, different fonts and many different text sizes. I also had
to customize my own font on the word “back” this is because I wanted to have yellow arrow
shapes after the letter” just like in the actual magazine.
4. Reflection
• What elements of your experiments will you
include in your final product?
– I will include many different elements of my
product experiments into my final product, one
element is that I will use my skill of creating my
own unique fonts and add them to the tittle of my
magazine.
– I will also use many similar tools such as the magic
wand tool and the stamp tool, I will use these so I
can create a professional looking magazine.
