Q and also own several radio stations in England and Scotland, these are just the
well known magazines that are published by this publisher as they do own a lot
more then listed.
They also publish a handful of niche magazines such as; Pop, Spirit and Destiny and
Your Horse. These are magazines for a different audience from the other
magazines, these magazines bring in a different kind of person.
This publisher publishes several different types of magazine to bring in different
audiences in, this helps as the magazines can all be different and bring in new and
different people.

BauerMedia also owns radio stations and some TV channels, this includes Kerrang Radio
and Kerrang TV station.
Also most of their magazine brands and radio stations have an online web page that you
can listen to music and has many other features.
A publisher publishes many different types of magazine so that they attract a wide audience
that is into different music or activities, which then in turn bring the company more
money as they have a wide audience range.
This company would like to publish my magazine as it is different to most of the their
magazines and will bring in more audience, as having one punk rock magazine will only
bring in some but having two will give the audience a bigger range of bands to cover in
their pages. But it is different to Kerrangas my magazine is for just the punk side of
music not the punk rock and has different bands that are not included in this magazine.
My magazine will focus on the style and design in bright colour which is the opposite to
Kerrangas it shows the darkness of the bands included in the pages.

• The main magazines that this publisher publishes is gaming magazines such as XBOX
World 360 this is widely bought.
• This is the kind of publisher I will not be publishing my magazine with as it does not
have many other music magazines published with them, so are not experienced in this
part of the magazine world.
• This publisher has many niche magazines as well such as total guitar, Tap! And Zap!
these only focusing on certain audiences in the magazine industry. This company would
