2. These are the four masthead ideas that I will
choose from when I create my magazine:
1. Sweet
2. Sugar Rush
3. Candy Pop
4. Party Time
3. AntsyPants Font:
I really like this font because the swirls on
the lettering could appeal to young girls,
which is my target audience. Therefore
using this font would attract the readers I
am targeting my magazine at.
I think I would use this masthead in the
colour pink or blue because I think they suit
this font best.
4. Odalisque NF Font:
I think that if i used this font I would
have to use a bold dark colour
because the font is very bold and
sophisticated.
Although this font may be too
sophisticated for my magazine I like
the way the font is very simplistic and
I think this would appeal to my target
audience.
5. AdineKirnberg-Script Font:
I think this font would really appeal to my
target audience for my magazine of young
girls as I think it is a very swirly font design
because of the swirls.
However I don’t think this font design is bold
enough for a masthead of a magazine. It
would not stand out enough I don’t think.
6. Brasspounder Font Family (Brasspounder Regular):
I think this font would work very well
as the masthead for my magazine as it
is very bold and is simple too. It isn’t
overly girly but I think it would work
well as the colour would help it look
girly.
I think the pink or purple colour of this
font would fit the best for my magazine
as it would help convey this magazine
is based around ‘Pop’ music and would
therefore help target the audience of
young girls even more.
7. Khadija Font:
I really like the way this font joins
up the lettering to look like
handwriting. I think this would help
it appeal to my target audience of
young girls.
The colours of the pinks/purples I
think would suit best for this font
as I think it is quite a girly font as
girls often join their handwriting
up.
8. Raconteur NF Font:
I like the uniqueness of this
font design where the ‘R’ at the
start of the word ‘Rush’ has
been exaggerated. I think this
font design will help my
magazine to be remembered as
the font is different to other
masthead fonts.
However some of the letters
may be too simple and small
for it to stand out on the front
of a magazine cover and
therefore would not appeal to
my target audience of young
girls.
9. Blenda Script Font:
I think this font design would be very
well suited for my magazine front cover
as it is bold and easy to read. I like this
font design in the colour pink because I
think it would stand out the most.
Also the handwriting is joined up which
would appeal to my target audience of
young girls as most girls join their
handwriting up.
10. Overall I think i like the last font I have found
which is the ‘Blenda Script’ font because I
think it is bold enough for a front cover and
also it joins up the lettering which would be
appealing to my target audience of young
girls.
