Uncommon Grace The Autobiography of Isaac Folorunso
Typefaces
1.
2. This is the font and text I will be using for my masthead.
3. These typeface is appropriate for my genre which is
pop music as it is serif and therefore attractive
towards my target audience which is the youth. The
style used reflects the stereotype of teenagers as
being trouble makers as the font is not straight and
solid.
This font is solid and therefore would grasp readers
attention giving it a mixed effect of formal and
informal presentation. Using the colour black
against a white background makes the font and text
very prominent further on engaging readers
attention.
This font would be very inappropriate for my magazine as it is very
unclear and blur which is mores suitable for a younger audience such
as kids magazine and not the youth as it would seem very childish
hence unattractive to them.
4. The font of this typeface would be
appropriate for the contents page of my
magazine as it has a classy and poppy
appearance. This will catch reader’s eyes
and bring them into text wanting to red it.
This typeface would not suit my
magazine in the contents page even
though it’s very informal and funky
but unclear to read due to the joint
typing.
This typeface is too formal and classy which
contradicts my pop music genre and
therefore I will not be using it for the text in
my contents page.
