22. CUSTOMER JOBS
Jobs describe the things your customers are trying to get
done in their work or in their life. A customer job could be the
tasks they are trying to perform and complete, the problems
they are trying to solve, or the needs they are trying to satisfy
(Jobsとはあなたの顧客が片付けたい仕事や生活に関する事柄。顧
客のJobとは解決したい問題を解決する、または満足を得る必要性を
得るために試みる作業となるものである。)

23. CUSTOMER PAINS
Pains describe anything that annoys your customers before,
during, and after trying to get a job done or simply prevents
them from getting a job done. Pains also describe risks, that is,
potential bad outcomes, related to getting a job done badly or
not at all.
(Painsとはあなたの顧客が仕事を片付ける際に邪魔をしたり億劫な気持
ちにさせるもの全てです。Painsはまた仕事をうまくできなくするような潜
在的に悪い結果を招くリスクとなるものです。)

24. CUSTOMER GAINS
Gains describe the outcomes and benefits your customers want.
Some gains are required, expected, or desired by customers,
and some would surprise them. Gains include functional utility,
social gains, positive emotions, and cost savings.
(Gainsとはあなたの顧客が欲している結果や便益です。いくつかの
gainsは顧客自身によって要求、期待、渇望されています。そしていくつ
かは彼らを驚かせます。Gainsは機能的な利便性、社会的利益、前向き
な感情そしてコストの削減を含みます。)

27. PAIN RELIEVERS
Pain relievers describe how exactly your products and services
alleviate specific customer pains. They explicitly outline how
you intend to eliminate or reduce some of the things that annoy
your customers before, during, or after they are trying to
complete a job or that prevent them from doing so.
(Pain relieversとはどれくらい正確に製品とサービスが特定の顧客の
painsを軽減してくれるかを表すものです。あなたがどのように顧客が成
し遂げようとする仕事を妨げることを軽減・消滅させるかの試みを正確に
概説する。)

Gain Creators describe how your products and services create
customer gains. They explicitly outline how you intend to
produce outcomes and benefits that your customer expects,
desires, or would be surprised by, including functional utility,
social gains, positive emotions, and cost savings.
(Gain Creatorsとは製品やサービスがどのように顧客のgainsを作り出
すかを表すものです。あなたがどのように顧客の期待・要望・驚き、機能
的な利便性、社会的利益、前向きな感情そしてコストの削減を含む結果
や便益を生み出すか記述します。)

30. NAPKIN SKETCHES
目的・・・value propositionのアイデアを素早く視覚化する
成果・・・ナプキンスケッチフォーマットで新規プロトタイプを作る
Napkin sketches are a rough representation of a value
proposition or business model and highlight only the core idea,
now how it works. They are rough enough to fit on the back of a
napkin and still communicate the idea. Use them early in your
prototyping process to explore and discuss alternatives.
(ナプキンスケッチとはvalue propositionまたはビジネスモデルのラフで
コアアイデアが現時点ではどのように機能するかを強調します。ナプキン
の裏に書けるぐらいのラフさでアイデアを共有できれば十分です。新規ア
イデアの検証や議論のためにプロトタイピングの初期で使います。)

Ad-libs are a great way to quickly shape alternative
directions for your value proposition. They force you to
pinpoint how exactly you are going to create value.
Proposition three to five different directions by filling out the
blanks in the ad-lib below.
(Ad-libsとはあなたのvalue propositionの新しい方向性を素早く明
確にする素晴らしい方法です。Ad-libsはあなたがどれくらい正確に価
値を創造しているかをピンポイントに表してくれる。

Use the Value Proposition Canvas to sketch out quick
alternative proto-types, just like you would with napkin
sketches or ad-libs. Don’t just work with the canvas to refine
final ideas, but use it as an exploratory tool until you find the
right direction.
(ナプキンスケッチやad-libsのように新しいプロトタイプのスケッチに
Value Proposition Canvasを使います。キャンバスは最終アイデア
を仕上げるために使うのではなく正しい方向を見つけるまでの探索的
