Orchestrator™ is the sedApta suite frame component which supports:
 Modelling of “as-is” and “to be” Processes, using the BPMN 2.0 standard and
dedicated Process Catalogues and Task Catalogues for smart manufacturing.
 Management of runtime business process execution exploiting the
integration with sedApta Suite™ components along with the interoperation
with third-party products.
 Assignment of tasks to the right subjects, thanks to User Task Boards.
 Process and Task Monitoring – a web based application for process
monitoring and operations.
 Process Analytics on relevant KPIs, thanks to the native integration with
Analytics™.
 Integration with Performance Support on each task, due to the native
integration with Skillaware™.

Orchestrator™ is the tool for the design and manage IT
processes of the company, using Process Catalogues and Task
Catalogues:
 Once designed, each time a process starts, a copy of the
workflow is created, allowing the same process to run
multiple times at the same time.
 Each subsequent task is assigned only to the right
company actor, through a dedicated Task Board - Widget.
 If the employee is not able to perform her/his tasks,
she/he can use the support system provided by
Skillaware™.
 Activating a task, Orchestrator™ interacts with
Analytics™, indicating the set of pre-defined default KPIs
related to that task.

“How can I monitor the learning performances?”
Skillaware™ is different from traditional eLearning systems because it allows users to
learn much more efficiently and to achieve this learning while working, learning new
systems, processes and IT procedures directly at the workplace, becoming Your Software
GPS.
 SkillEditor™ automatically capture the experience of software
expert user during software usage, and automatically generates
learning materials for novice users, such as technical documentation
(PDF™, Word™, DITA™ documents), videos with “Text-to-Speech”,
GPS-like software navigation guides and rule-based decision
support.
 Company workflows on processes and procedures are imported by
Orchestrator™ or by a digital process expert in the SkillBoard™
environment, making them available for consultation by workforce.
 SkillAgent™ helps the workforce “just in time, just enough”, in real
time during the usage of the software, suggesting step-by-step the
procedure to the user and making the learning material available.
Workforce can also access to learning materials offline, using
SkillPortal™.
 Data related to workforce performances are collected, aggregated
and shown in customizable dashboards in the SkillAnalyzer™
environment, supported by Analytics™.
How does Skillaware™ work?
Skillaware™ blends standards and functionality coming from
Business Process Management, Performance Support & Learning Analytics
Analytics™, developed by Aryosa™, is capable to collect and
report measurements of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
related to all the processes of the company:
 Each task of Orchestrator™ implies monitoring of
specific KPIs.
 Analytics™ is auto-adaptive: if a process changes in
Orchestrator™ due to the Continuous Improvement
strategy, the tool is automatically capable to redesign
its collection of KPIs, allowing the monitoring of
effectiveness of changes and the related ROIs.
 Analytics™ can also manage, with the right privacy
level, the workforce performance data captured by
Skillaware™, allowing to identify in which part of the
process workforce needs more or specific training.

trends and compare them with the benchmarks.
 At instance completion, Analytics™ allows the Manager to create
customizable dashboards, applying filters, extracting and
aggregating data.
 Moreover, the Manager can insert formulas to calculate new KPIs
based on aggregated data.
 Analytics™ allows to save those analyses in order to create
customizable evaluation reports of the process, in order to
identify the critical points and actively sustain the Change
Management and the Continuous Improvement inside the

  • 2. Manufacturing changes in the last 20 years… In the last decades, the manufacturing world has changed dramatically, in terms of complexity of the supply chain. The company is a machine builder with 40 years of experience. Yesterday Today Company Customers Suppliers  Local suppliers are well known and available.  Low delivery costs.  Easiness of promising an accurate delivery date.  Customers are closed to the company (low costs, intimacy, no language gaps).  No implementation of third-party equipments.  Customers are able to assemble the new line without closed assistance, due to their large experience in the field.  Global Suppliers.  High delivery costs, due to new plant located in foreign countries.  Difficulty of promising an accurate delivery date.  Customers are widespread in the world (high costs, no intimacy, language gaps).  Implementation of third-party equipments is strongly required by the customer.  Customers need closed assistance by the company to assemble the new line.
  • 3. Manufacturing changes in the last 20 years… In the last decades, the manufacturing world has changed dramatically, in terms of variety of products on the markets. The company is a beer producer, with a strong presence on the market. Yesterday Today Lager Red Ale With only few products, the company is able to maintain a strong presence on the market. What subjects should be involved? Orchestrator™ is the sedApta suite frame component which supports:  Modelling of “as-is” and “to be” Processes, using the BPMN 2.0 standard and dedicated Process Catalogues and Task Catalogues for smart manufacturing.  Management of runtime business process execution exploiting the integration with sedApta Suite™ components along with the interoperation with third-party products.  Assignment of tasks to the right subjects, thanks to User Task Boards.  Process and Task Monitoring – a web based application for process monitoring and operations.  Process Analytics on relevant KPIs, thanks to the native integration with Analytics™.  Integration with Performance Support on each task, due to the native integration with Skillaware™. Orchestrator™ is the tool for the design and manage IT processes of the company, using Process Catalogues and Task Catalogues:  Once designed, each time a process starts, a copy of the workflow is created, allowing the same process to run multiple times at the same time.  Each subsequent task is assigned only to the right company actor, through a dedicated Task Board - Widget.  If the employee is not able to perform her/his tasks, she/he can use the support system provided by Skillaware™.  Activating a task, Orchestrator™ interacts with Analytics™, indicating the set of pre-defined default KPIs related to that task.   • 9.  SkillEditor™ automatically capture the experience of software expert user during software usage, and automatically generates learning materials for novice users, such as technical documentation (PDF™, Word™, DITA™ documents), videos with “Text-to-Speech”, GPS-like software navigation guides and rule-based decision support.  Company workflows on processes and procedures are imported by Orchestrator™ or by a digital process expert in the SkillBoard™ environment, making them available for consultation by workforce.  SkillAgent™ helps the workforce “just in time, just enough”, in real time during the usage of the software, suggesting step-by-step the procedure to the user and making the learning material available. Workforce can also access to learning materials offline, using SkillPortal™.  Data related to workforce performances are collected, aggregated and shown in customizable dashboards in the SkillAnalyzer™ environment, supported by Analytics™. Analytics™, developed by Aryosa™, is capable to collect and report measurements of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to all the processes of the company:  Each task of Orchestrator™ implies monitoring of specific KPIs.  Analytics™ is auto-adaptive: if a process changes in Orchestrator™ due to the Continuous Improvement strategy, the tool is automatically capable to redesign its collection of KPIs, allowing the monitoring of effectiveness of changes and the related ROIs.  Analytics™ can also manage, with the right privacy level, the workforce performance data captured by Skillaware™, allowing to identify in which part of the process workforce needs more or specific training. Analytics™ provides support to the Change Management, allowing the definition of relevant KPIs, configuration of reporting dashboards and management of access privileges and options for displaying information.  During the execution of a process instance by Orchestrator™ and Skillaware™, Analytics™ allows the Manager to assess the KPIs trends and compare them with the benchmarks.  At instance completion, Analytics™ allows the Manager to create customizable dashboards, applying filters, extracting and aggregating data.  Moreover, the Manager can insert formulas to calculate new KPIs based on aggregated data.  Analytics™ allows to save those analyses in order to create customizable evaluation reports of the process, in order to identify the critical points and actively sustain the Change Management and the Continuous Improvement inside the company.
