Hindustan unilever limited is india’s largest fast 
moving consumer goods company, touching 
the live of two out of three indians with over 
20 distinct categories in home and personal 
care product and food and beverages. They 
endow the company with a scaled of 
combine volume of about 4 million tonnes 
and sale of nearly rs 13718 cr.
THING TO KNOW ABOUT 
Hul is country’s largest exporter, recognized 
as a “GOLDEN SUPER STAR TRADING 
HOUSE” by the government of india. 
Mission that inspires hul is “ADD VITALITY 
OF LIFE” 
HUL brands are manufactured over 40 
factories across india. 
HUL is focusing on health & hygienic, 
education , women empowerment, water 
management.
It has research center i.e. HURC in mumbai and 
banglore which has 200 high qualified scientist 
& technologist. 
HUL also contributes in case of national 
calamites such as earthquake In gujrat and 
sunami in south india through welfare measures 
In 2001 the company started a program called 
SAKTI in which they provide opportunities to 
rural women to improve their livelihood & 
standard of living .
HUL is also running a rural health program 
lifebuoy SWATHYA CHETANA which include 
adoption of hygienic practices among rural 
indians , so as to avoid diseases .
