LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• To recognize the difference between wild animals and domesticated
animals.
• To practice the listening, speaking, reading and writing macro-skills.
WARM UP
• The teacher will begin the class writing down the date.
• The teacher will give the students their badges.
• The teacher will introduce a memory game about animals, in which
students will have to choose an image and a tab with the name of an
animal to see if they match.
2. • The teacher will check the homework provided last week which is a
word search about animals and their habitats.
Type of interaction: Teacher-students.
Macro-skills: speaking.
Timing: 15 minutes.
Materials: Blackboard and flashcards.
DEVELOPMENT
First activity:
• The teacher will introduce the Present Simple by making a chart on
which the plurals nouns are associated with the auxiliary DO and
3. singular nouns are associated with the auxiliary DOES.
• The teacher will reinforce the explanation with a listening activity

Timing: 10 minutes.

Second activity:
• The teacher will introduce an exercise of reading and complete the
gaps using the words from the previous exercise assigned as
homework.
• The teacher will check the activity with the students altogether on the
board.

4. Third activity:
• The teacher will give the students an extra sheet of paper with pictures
of animals, students are expected to complete blanks with information
about animals (habitats, food).
• The students who cannot finish the activity, they have to do it as
homework.
• The teacher will check the activity with students altogether on the
board.
