1. 6.What have you learnt about
technologies from the process of
constructing this product?
2. BLOGGER
• Blogger.com - Is used to keep record of each
individual’s research, techniques and
evaluation.
3. FREE PLAY MUSIC
• Freeplaymusic.com - Is an uncopyrighted
website where you can download different
types of music for free that you can then apply
to your film piece. We chose music from the
action section but we had to note the
composer in our credits.
4. TWITTER AND FACEBOOK
• Facebook.com and Twitter.com - Are both
social networking sites in which we used to
arrange meet times for filming. Films are also
advertised via the internet because it is cheap
advertising and effective due to the large
number of people who have access to it.
5. GOOGLE
• Google.co.uk - Is a search engine which can be
used in numerous ways. We used this to
collect images, watch videos and gain access
to other information needed for our piece for
example the BBFC website.
6. TRIPOD
• Tripod - Help keep the camera steady whilst
filming to keep a professional look. The
tripods size can be adjusted. At some points
we thought that it would be better to shoot
some of the shots therefore we had to use the
camera by hand to give the scene a more
realistic look.
7. IMOVIE
• Imovie - Was the software we used on the
macs to edit and produce our piece in post-
production. You can change/add sounds and
adjust the video effects on each clip
individually. Using imovie made the editing a
lot easier to edit our movie.
8. SONY HANYCAM
• Sony handycam – We used a Sony handycam
to film our final piece, using the handycam
made film really easy and meant that we got
the best results with our film.
9. IPHONE
• We used the iphone to check and update the
local weather so we could see when it would
be appropriate to film.
10. BLACK MAC
• We used a black mac to edit our 2 minute film,
research similar products and get the music
for our film.
