Synopsis:
The scene is set at a house party to celebrate Halloween, the group of
teenagers will all arrive wearing masks but whilst they are partying someone in
their friendship group has been killed in the toilet. Clark (the protagonist who's
party it is) discovers the dead body covered in blood in the bathroom, this then
leads to Clark interrogating the other friends to find out who killed her. Nobody
is able to leave .
Genre: Horror/murder mystery

Branding- The mask is our main element and the aspect of the
protagonist character (s) also wearing a mask too to add tension to
the viewers. The genre will be portrayed by adding sound affects
like screams, locking doors, dark lighting and low camera angles etc,
also the music will help make it clear that it is horror.

Insidious and The Conjuring are similar to our film and targeted the same audience that we will target.

With our film being targeted mainly at teenagers, the film will have to appeal to ‘thrill seekers.’
7. Reaching the Target Audience
The main form of promotion for our film will be the internet, ‘like The Conjuring’ we will have social media
accounts on Twitter and Facebook.
We could do what The Conjuring did and release a VR 360 Video teaser trailer feature for our film, maybe
from the perspective of someone in the film looking around at all the party guests, maybe there can be
some sort of puzzle/game interaction thing where you have to find the killer in the video.
We will also release our own posters intended for buses and billboards as well as for outside cinemas.
8. Idea for poster
Picture of Clark with his arm round Asha, and her
looking innocent and sweet and infatuated with
him.
With the 6 other characters in background, the
couple in the foreground, the couple in focus and
the others blurred. Red texts, including a mask in
some format.
Similar to defeating the evil ex's poster. Similar
layout.
Each person wearing a mask to show even the
protagonist wears a mask.
