2. Captain America
The first few opening seconds to the captain
America teaser trailer entices the audiences as it
starts with a black out which gradually lightens
and reveals a male dominant character which
indicates to the audiences the importance of the
character due to his prominence on the screen
and how he is the first person to be seen. The
opening sound instantly entices the audience as
it is dramatic and loud.
There are several flashing clips of several
different character this creates the idea of a
team. Each character is portrayed as powerful
and fierce due to the outfits and facial
expressions. The screenshot on the left shows a
robotic outfit which is made from metal which
indicates strength. This film is already portrayed
as an action film after only 5 seconds from
watching this teaser trailer. The background
image of each shot is dark and gloomy.
3. This is a screenshot of the title of the movie,
this is followed by loud drastic music which
helps to entice the audiences. The font is bold
and the “CIVIL WAR” is in capital letters and is
shown in a metallic font. This also instantly
creates the idea of an action film. The use of a
bold font will stick in the audiences minds and
this helps them to remember the name of the
film so they can go to the cinema when it is
released and view it there. The title is shown
at 0.10 which is three quarters of the way
through the film, this is because the teaser
trailer has already enticed the audience by the
clips in the first 10 seconds.
The end clip is of a title which states
“TOMMOROW” which means that the teaser
trailer had been released one day prior to the
official screening of the movie. This means that
the audience will not forget about the movie
and they have a fresh memory and are more
obliged to watch the movie.
