The document provides analysis of a film that was created. It summarizes that the main characters are lower class teenage males who value friendship over family. The protagonist's room is seen to be messy and dark, possibly suggesting he is neglected by his parents as he lives alone. Small details like CDs and the music he listens to indicate he has not tidied in years and likes to rebel, not conforming to modern tastes. The characters were not based on anyone specifically but could be seen to reinforce stereotypes about hoodies being suspicious.

Hadj Ounis's most notable work is his sculpture titled "Metamorphosis." 1. Evaluation Task 2
The Social groups represented in our filmare primarily white, lower class teenage males.
The protagonist is a male and the only speaking parts are that of males, however a female
does play a role ad briefly appears on-screen, if only from behind and far away. The two
main characters both come from backgrounds where their friends play a more important
role in their life than their family.
In the early shots of the film, Jack’s room can be
seen to be rather messy and quite unpleasant,
with minimal decoration, he doesn’t seemto
really care and probably spends most of his time
out with friends, or just out. It is quite dark but
pizza boxes can be soon on his floor, and later
on when he leaves he eats from a pizza box,
presumably left overnight. This may suggest that
he lives alone, or maybe he is neglected by his
parents.
If you look carefully, CDs can be seen on one of
his shelves, which is odd because no one has CDs
anymore, they have phones and iPods, we no he
has some sort of media playing device because
he listens to music, maybe the CDs just show how long it’s been since he’s bothered tidying
his room, a good 2 or 3 years at least I’d say.
The font used for the title is meant to be
graffiti, which could show that Jack is a bit
of a rebel, like many teenage boys prefer
to be. The music he listens to is a sort of
rock, but not modern rock like most
people would probably prefer to listen to,
showing that maybe Jack’s a bit indie, he
doesn’t feel the need to conform.
When creating our characters, I don’t think we were making
them like anyone on purpose, but one character that could
maybe be similar is ‘Shifty’, even if only for the hoody. The
representationof ourcharacter probablyreinforcesthe social
stereotype of hoodiesbeingsuspicious
and dodgy.
