1. My Own Digipak - Evaluation
For my different images, I used a variety of shottypes, including two low angle
shots, and 1 high angle, and one medium shot. All of my shots are completely
black and white, to give the album an ‘old school’ slightly dark feel. All of my
images contain somesort of indication of a genre, whether it is a brick wall, an
urban setting, a sports car, money or simply the actor’s clothing.
For the album title, I replaced each s with a dollar sign, to representthe
meaning of the word business. Thetheme of money is also shown by using the
background of American banknotes for the back cover.
For editing my images I used AdobePhotoshop, using the threshold tool to
make the images a high contrastblack and white version.
I think my digipak follows my genre’s conventions well, however making all of
the images black and white may makethem look too similar, and the ‘artist’ is
wearing the sameclothes in all of the images, so there is not a great deal of

some morevariety in the images, including different clothing, and people, and
I would not want the artistto be the focus of all the images, I might want the
back cover to be simply the image of an object or place.
On the inside cover I included a good memorable quote that would remind
fans one or more of the songs in the album.
