Leadership roles not clearly defined e.g. Project Head and Factory
Supervisor roles .
Operations
Floor Planning is not up to standards e.g. Areas for cutting sheets and
welding should be separated.
Orders need to be quit for inefficient manpower planning.
Cluttered work stations.
HR
Manpower planning is inefficient.
Adequate training not offered to the ground staffs.
Lack of employee motivation.
6. PEOPLE
Sales Manager: Generates leads and approaches
prospective clients.
Project Lead and Supervisor: Coordinates between
engineers and workers.
Finance Head: Allocates budget for expenditure.
Salespeople: Sales pitching and achieving target sales
in their designated territory.
Workers: They are assigned tasks by the engineers e.g.
mechanical and fabrication jobs.
7. MY LEARNINGS AND SUGGESTIONS
Sales Pitching and Aggressive Promotioning is
necessary.
Robust Aftersales Team can retain a customer.
Implementing 5S can reduce wastage, in turn
maximize profitability.
MIS should be implemented for effective monitoring
of activities and taking quick and correct decisions.
Strict Adherence to Quality measures helps to
produce better products.
Adherence to Company Policies should be
practiced across all levels.
