2. Professional Development Plan
Needs:
• After hours, hands-on, classroom simulated professional development that
assists teachers in integrating technology in the classroom.
• Technology cadre consisting of IT Coach, Principal, and one teacher from
each grade level, to facilitate integration of technology and instruction.
Goal: To provide professional development to campus staff for the successful
integration of technology in the classroom.
Session One
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training for the purpose of grade
levels to design and implement one research/technology project per semester.
Persons responsible for activity: Technology cadre members
Supporting data: STaR Chart, Campus Improvement Plan, district LRPT, scope
and sequence
Session Two
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training on the design and set up
of a blog to enhance learning and communication between teachers and
students.

Session Three
Objective: Teachers will be provided hands-on training on the design and set up
of a Wiki for the purpose of collaboration and reaching consensus.

a podcast to enhance student learning in the classroom.
