Two Minute Film Opening: Time Keeper
There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Footage:
There is excellent controlled use of the camera throughout with great variety of
shots and attention to framing. Great attention to mise-en-scene particularly
location/costume/performance.
Editing:
Cuts and transitions are excellent throughout clearly establishing narrative. Good
titles to show the conventions of the industry. Pace of opening scene is particularly
effective. Camera security footage works very well.
Sound:
The use of sound and effects builds tension well throughout the piece. Good use
of music. Dialogue can be heard clearly throughout.
Overall:
An excellent film opening that fits the genre well. Narrative is clear with good use
of genre conventions. Very professional looking piece of work.
