There is evidence of proficiency in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Footage:
There is some good controlled use of the camera throughout with some good variety
of shots and attention to framing. Good attention to mise-en-scene particularly props.
Editing:
There are well placed cuts and transitions. Good titles to show the conventions of the
industry. Good attempt to stage a claustrophobic fight.
Sound:
The use of sound and effects builds tension well throughout the piece. Good use of
music. Some dialogue lost in mix.
Overall:
A proficient film opening that fits the genre well.
