Two Minute Film Opening:
There is evidence of excellence in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Footage:
There is excellent controlled use of the camera throughout with great variety of shots
and attention to framing. Great attention to mise-en-scene particularly
location/costume/performance.
Editing:
Cuts and transitions are excellent throughout clearly establishing narrative. Good
titles to show the conventions of the industry. Pace of opening scene is particularly
effective. Titles are very effective.
Sound:
The use of sound and effects builds tension well throughout the piece. Good use of
music. Dialogue can be heard clearly throughout.
Overall:
An excellent film opening that fits the genre well. Narrative is clear with good use of
genre conventions. Very professional looking piece of work.
