Two Minute Film Opening: Awakening
There is evidence of proficiency in the creative use of many of the technical skills.
Footage:
There is mostly controlled use of the camera throughout with a good variety of shots
and attention to framing. Good attention to mise-en-scene, especially use of
locations and props. Take care to clean lens to ensure good quality footage.
Editing:
There are well placed cuts and transitions. Good titles at start that follow the
conventions of the industry. Editing builds tension.
Sound:
The dialogue level could be louder to match the levels of the well-chosen score that
builds tension.
Overall:
A proficient film opening that fits the genre well.
