IMAGE SOURCE: https://www.pinotspalette.com/naperville/blog/creative-life/pinotspalettenaperville-10-scientific-facts-about-creativity
It is one of the most valuable
assets that an animator should
possess because it helps them
develop fresh and imaginative
ideas for tasks like character
designing, scriptwriting,
storyboarding, and set design.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
ATTENTIVENESS TO DETAILS
Attentiveness to Detail demonstrates
the person’s watchfulness in dealing
with the specifics and requirements of
the task given.
An animator should conduct a thorough
study or observe the specifics of the job
assigned to them to ensure that they
match the expectations set to the task.
They should examine all the details of
their work product to avoid errors that will
result in reworking or redoing the outputs.
SLIDESMANIA.COM

to make necessary adjustments in
his/her work setting or environment to
fit to the current situation.
Being adaptable allows a person to show
his or her willingness to make personal
sacrifices for the organization's benefit.
Unexpected changes are frequent in the
animation industry, and animators must be
willing to modify their works to satisfy their
clients fully.
SLIDESMANIA.COM

willingness to do whatever it takes to
ensure that the work is done. A reliable
person has greater chances of being
promoted to higher positions because
they have proven their commitment to
perform tasks designated to them.
SLIDESMANIA.COM

challenges will give a lesser chance
of making harsh decisions and
regrettable actions.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
PERSEVERANCE
Perseverance refers to the
characteristic of having a “not giving
up” attitude despite being faced with

imagination, design characters,
and prepare animation sets and
environments.

COMPUTER SKILLS

computers to produce their
animation, and it will be a
significant advantage if you have a
good understanding of the use of
animation hardware and software.

CHECKPOINT:
Using the battery scale displayed below, rate your skills by
highlighting the number of columns displayed in the battery. The
number of columns that you have shaded is equivalent to your
proficiency with the said skill. Shading the whole battery means that
you are very proficient in that skill while leaving the battery with no
shade indicates that you believe that you have not achieved any
level of that particular skill.

Lifestyle
SLIDESMANIA.COM
WHAT IS LIFESTYLE?
IMAGE SOURCE: https://pngtree.com/element/down?id=NjIxMjY5NQ==&type=1&time=1694909005&token=MWRkY2IzNWY2ZWUx
Lifestyle refers to the
routines that a person
practices as a way of living.

developed over time to
adapt to their current
situation or environment.

Animators usually work in
animation studios where all the
work tools and equipment are
available, but some animators
work at home.
They often work the typical 8-
hour shift except for times
where there are deadlines in
which they must stay longer.
Animators are also used to be
called to work for emergency
meetings and urgent work
assignments.

WORK ATTIRE
Unlike other professions that requires
employees to wear a standard work
uniform, most animation studios allow
their employees to wear whatever
clothes they want as long as it is neat
and presentable. The purpose of this
“no uniform” policy is to let animators
choose the type clothing that they feel
comfortable for work. Still, there are
occasions where they will be required
to wear corporate attires, especially
when attending executive and client
meetings.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
EXPERIENCING ADVENTURES
An animator must continuously
expand their creativity by
allowing themselves to
experience life adventure like
traveling to different places,
experiencing other cultures,
trying new hobbies, and playing
sports. Experiences can bring
inspirations to animators in
designing their next characters
or projects.
SLIDESMANIA.COM
RESEARCHING
Books and a variety of reading materials are also great sources of
inspiration for animators. As an aspiring animator, you should learn
the habit of reading because it can help you when you are tasked
to design characters or write a script for an animation project. You
should also learn how to conduct research especially when you are
working with projects that requires accuracy and precision.
