2. Websites and online applications
During planning prior to filming day I used
websites such as prezi and pearl and dean. Pearl
and dean was helpful when researching the target
audience for our teaser trailer and allowed me to
view the audiences of other films both new and
old. I used prezi a lot throughout planning as it
enabled me to present my ideas and information
which I had gathered so I could then both present
it to the class and post it on my journal.
I used free sound which is a website with
thousands of short sound clips. We found a
number of different sounds here and layered
them up to create the sound which we were
looking for.
3. Software
I used illustrator and photoshop for creating my poster for our
teaser trailer. I first put my photo into photoshop where I was
able to cut it down to the image I was looking for. I then put
this image into illustrator where I created my poster.
For sound I used garageband. This was the first time I had used
this software and I craeted a number of short clips of my own
sound which I then put with free sound I had found online.
This software enabled us to change sound which we had got
from the internet and alter it so that it fit with our trailer.
For editing we used final cut pro. This is where we edited and
put together all our clips and also where we layered the sound
which we had gathered from both garageband and online to
achieve the final sound which we were hoping for.
4. Digital equipment
The cameras we used were canon 80D. We
edited on the imacs and also used our phones
throughout filming day and planning to take
pictures of our progress. I posted these pictures
on my planning journal. We also used the ipad
for our voice over after filming day but changed
to the microphone for a better quality of sound.
