technologies in the construction,
research, planning and evaluation
stages

2. Construction
We used Adobe
Premiere for the
construction of the
music video as well as
creating the animatic
before hand.
Such a high
performance software
such as Premiere
allowed us to edit
footage of incredibly
high quality and large
size.
We used a Canon 400D in order
to film out music video in
higher quality like other
professional, media products of
the same genre.

3. Research
We used YouTube to
research music videos of a
similar genre by searching
similar artists. We also used
YouTube to facilitate
uploading our own music
video just like the media
products we were
researching.
We also used SurveyMonkey in order to branch
out to a wider audience for their feedback
towards the chosen song and their
opinions/perspectives of it. By being accessible
online, this meant a vaster amount of people
could access and take part in the Survey. It was
also cost effective.

4. Planning
We used Microsoft Word
in order to create the call
sheet, kit list, and
shooting schedules to
plan the preparation of
our music video.
This format of planning
meant once uploaded to
tumblr it was easily
accessible by all those
who were needed, and
the equipment needed
to film.
We used google maps to find
locations.

5. Planning cont.
We used google images and Microsoft
powerpoint to construct a moodboard for
our music video to convey the theme of our
music video: conflict.

6. Evaluation
We used Prezi to create our
evaluations, it was free and accessible
online. This was similar for SlideShare
but it meant we could upload
powerpoint presentations as a whole.
