1. In this presentation I am going to be
talking about how we used new and
different media technologies to plan
and evaluate my media products.

2.  To capture the film, we used a digital recording
camera. We found it quite is easy to get the
hand of the camera, using the zoom function and
the basic handling of the camera. We also used a
tripod to capture steady shots of the artist in our
music video.
o We found it easy to capture the
shots we needed on the day of the
video shoot we only used one camera
to film footage but we repeatedly
filmed the same footage but from
different angles to allow us to have
enough shots for editing.

3.  We filmed in many different locations around London
such as famous landmarks like Big Ben and London Eye.
However, when film there was some busy periods where
the public passed by in some shots, therefore we had to
have enough correct and clean shots for editing. When
filming we placed the artist in front of London Eye and
Big Ben, as these are famous landmarks, and the song
was about London.

4.  To construct our music video, we used Final Cut
Pro an editing software on the Apple Mac. At first
we found it hard to use the program and had to
turn to look at the Final Cut Pro manual, but
through practice we found it easy to edit the
shots.

5.  When editing we had to make sure that the lyrics were
in sync with the song. This was hard at first because we
didn't know how to use the program as much, but after
using it a couple of times, we found out that we could
move the film for that section of the song along a the
timeline allowing to become in sync.
 Whilst editing found out was of adding visual effects
such as fades into different shot but then quickly to the
original which we used in specific times in the video in
order tell the audience the song through images.

6.  We used two different software's to produce the
magazine advert and CD cover.
 For the magazine advert and CD cover we used adobe
Photoshop to fine tune and edit our products.
 To construct our CD cover and magazine we used Adobe
Indesign.

7.  At first I found it hard to use Photoshop and Indesign
either though I used it last year to create my magazine,
but again after using it a couple of times, it came back
to me.
 The photos we used didn’t need much editing as we
took them in a well lit place.

8.  Into order conduct our research we used
technologies such as search engines like Google, in
order to gain enough information to produce the
correct product. We also used websites such as
YouTube and Survey Monkey to gain audience
feedback.
