This document summarizes the status and latency analysis of Xen-ARM. It discusses Xen-ARM support on various ARM architectures, new features like synchronization and core topology management. Latency analysis shows interrupt latency is under 50us for a single domain but can be delayed for inactive domains. System call and context switching latency is increased by around 1us due to the need for hypercall decoding and handling of physical interrupts. While interrupt latency is not large, event delivery to inactive guest domains may be delayed until scheduling. The Xen ARM project aims to make it preemptible to guarantee real-time responsiveness.
