Every year there are millions of children who suffer from an epidemic of child abuse and neglect at
the hands of the very people who they trust to love them and care for them. According to U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services (2011), child neglect accounted for 78.3% of all reported
cases of maltreatment. These statistics make neglect the most common type of child maltreatment,
however it is often under recognized. The Department of Health (1999) refers to neglect as the

serious impairment of the child s health or development. Physical, psychological, medical,
educational, and mental health, are the five major types of neglect identified by famed psychologist

The purpose of this research was to investigation the factors that contribute to conformity levels for
participants in year eleven. In group A, it is shown in figure 1 that the results between campaign
scores were relatively similar. Group A responded to the images in the same manner that participants
in Group B who did not receive any options from a third party. This indicates that whatever a

scores, making our hypothesis accepted. The hypothesis was correct as the results and data compiled
showed that the more siblings the higher campaign score would be.
The reliability of the data would not be as strong since the participants moods and/or personal
situation could vary if they were to do the experiment again, consequently changing their original
results and therefore altering the entire experiments finalised results. To improve the effectiveness of
the data, it might be better and more helpful to split into two groups based off of their moods and how
attentive they are in that time frame. If done correctly, it would help the results by making them more

being poisoned by our trash. They are also consuming it, and think about this, then we eat that fish,

In chapter 12, the first music covered in depth is that of the siku, or panpipe, and such music is clearly
pre Columbian and retains its Peruvian indigenous heredity when it clings to creating music solely

When considering possible explanations for the Salem witch trials, it is important to consider and
reference other historical accounts of witchcraft. Although Salem presents its own unique case, and

Duck Week
Every year our community raises thousands of dollars for children and their families, who need it to
be able to fight medical issues. Duck week is a wonderful opportunity for the community to rise
together and strive for a shared cause. It is honestly amazing to see how everyone in the community
comes together to raise so much money for children and their families who are in need of this money
due to medical expenses and procedures. I am glad that our community does this, and I think it is one
of the great things about Piedmont. To me, by raising money for these families, it is a great way to
unite the people of the community. We may not be able to help everyone who has medical problems,
but we can try to help as many as we can. We can at least help a few people, and it can make a huge
