benefits attained from the invested amount on the project (cost). To perform this analysis, all the
inputs (cost) and outputs (benefits) should be measured in the same unit of measurement and at the
same time. Generally, the measurement unit is money (usually dollar). We need to measure these at the
same time because the dollar value changes time to time. While evaluating the cost benefit analysis we
need to take both the tangible and intangible costs in to consideration and classify the costs in one
time cost and recurring costs. So these onetime costs and recurring costs need to have relation with
time depending on the length of the project. Need to determine the fixed costs and variable costs in

Woolf expresses her frustration on why women were denied privacy in her novel, A Room of One s
Own. Woolf compares the traditional lifestyle tailored made for the opposite sex and the sacrifices that
came with it. Women are limited intellectually as to not interfere with their domesticated duties. Even
having the same desires for activities and education as men, a women s place was not allowed in the
man s world.
People may find Woolf s theories outdated; the statement For genius like Shakespeare s is not born
among laboring, uneducated, servile people would be met with controversy if published today (Woolf
46). It is important to remember that Woolf believes that money and personal independence go hand in
hand with freedom of thought, and that poverty and its attendant troubles prevent such thought. She
admits that brilliance can emerge from low working classes but is rare. Woolf is clearly at odds with
any kind of protest literature, feeling that it reduces the incandescent talent of the writer (Woolf 56).
The narrator returns home disappointed that she hasn t found some piece of truth to explain the
poverty that women don t share with men. Woolf thinks she needs a historian to describe the

The distinctiveness of style and language represented in the poem are what identify the sorrowful and
aggressive tone. From the opening of the poem we learn that the onion is pleading with someone to
stop cutting him into pieces. The onion says I don t mean to make you cry. /I mean nothing, but this
has not kept you/ From peeling away my body. (lines 1 3) The attitude being presented is sorrowful.
Pity is being expressed by the onion because it notices itself as being the reason why the person
addressed is crying. At the same time, the person could be crying to get the onions attention and win
the onions sympathy. Based on the context, the onion seems to represent a male who s fed up with the
way he has been treated and the person he s addressing seems to be a female who s hurting and
seeking some kind of truth. They are in a dreadful relationship and the voice presented in the poem
acts as a response to the previous conversation the two had before the onion spoke. Because the onion
feels as though he is responsible for the persons tear s, he s reassuring himself and her that he means
no harm. The choice of words in lines 5 6 demonstrate the sorrowful tone I speak of, uttered by the

lines, I see the onion as thinking he is above the human. Like a father looking down on his son,
shaking his head, accentuating that he has so much to learn.

It has been over 15 years now since I first started using and studying the applications for herbal and
homeopathic medicine. It wasn t that I was against conventional medicine (and still am not). It was
more a blend of curiosity, necessity, and safety, with a dash of family influence thrown in for good
measure that drove me in the direction of natural herbal and homeopathic health.
I always thought that over time practitioners of western medicine would eventually see the advantages
of herbal and homeopathic medicine while becoming more aware of the risks involved with
pharmaceutical medications. These realizations would in turn lead to more moderate approach to
prescription pharmaceuticals and open the door for a handful of proven herbal and homeopathic
remedies.
But I fear that the pendulum is swinging in the other direction with those practicing medicine, with an
emphasis on treating disease with pharmaceutical drugs, becoming even more resistant to the idea. It

The Battle of Bosworth Field took place on 22 August 1485; it was between the army of Henry Tudor,
Earl of Richmond and King Richard III. It was the 16th and penultimate battle of the War of the
Roses. It was crucial to the outcome to the war and the history of the world to come. The battle of
Bosworth Field effected England, through the military, as peace was brought to England after
centuries of war, politically as Henry VII came to the crown, beginning the Tudor dynasty, with Henry

Henry Tudor left France on August 1 with 2,000 men and gathered more men as he travelled through
Wales; by the time of battle on the 22nd of August he had a 5,000 strong army (Hickman, 2009).
Richard III had an army of 10,000 men. Henry had sent messengers to Lord Stanley and Sir William
Stanley requesting assistance, they both agreed to desert Richard III during the battle. When both
Stanleys swapped sides, this turned the numbers in favour of Henry s army. The battle only lasted
approximately 2 hours ending with Richard s death and Henry Tudor, despite being 13th in line for the
crown at the time, was crowned King Henry VII.
Richard s army charged downhill to meet Henry s. The Stanley s observed from the south before
joining Henry in battle, being able to overwhelm Richard III army (Hickman, 2009). It is not
completely certain where the battle took place but it is thought to have been near Dadlington and
Ambion hill (as seen below).
The main military effects of the battle of Bosworth Field were that it brought to an end centuries of
conflict; before the decades long War of the Roses the Hundred Years war took place between England
and France, the English people on the whole were tired of fighting and most accepted Henry as King,
a small army fought under the name of York in 1487 in the final battle of the War of the Roses but
