For my film review I decided to watch Vision: The Life of Hildegard von Bingen, (2009). The story of
a 12th century German nun, Hildegard von Bingen (Barbara Sukowa), that was best known for her
visions of God that were written down by Monk Volmar (Heino Ferch) and her fellow nun Richardis
von Stade (Hannah Herzsprung). The film starts off with Hildegard being brought to the cloister as a
young child because she speaks the language of God, although she does not admit this until later in
life when she finally confides in Monk Volmar whom appears to be her closest friend and confidant.
Much of this film appears to deal with her rise and fall from grace with various people because she
stood her ground on the legitimacy of her visions and learnings. This leads to her becoming a

Central Pennsylvania was never known as to have been the permanent settlement for any large group

Family Theme In Nyxia
One theme seed seen throughout the novel Nyxia by Scott Reintgen is family. In the beginning of the
novel Emmett goes with the Bible company due to the fact that if he wins the prize would be 50
thousand a month for the rest of his life as well as free access and treatment at medical centers
courtesy of Babel. My thinking is that the free access and treatment at medical centers is the real
reason he is there, as it even says so in the beginning of the book. His mother has breast cancer and
kidney disease so winning could very well save her life.
The first basic theme of family I found in this novel was family can cause people to do things they

In this paper I did research throughout all seven books of J.K Rowling s Harry Potter Series. Many
people have different opinions as to what was Ms. Rowling s true theme was towards this series. Some
may say that it is; Good V.S Evil, Coming of Age, Death, or Friendship. They always forget that the
main theme is Love. Rowling portrayed the theme of the book through her characters personality and
how love changed everybody life. Throughout her series there were series of different type of love
going one. Some may include Sacrificial Love, Unconditional Love, Love Hate, Love turning evil
good. Since Harry really never had love showed towards him in life because he lived with his Uncles,
Aunt, and cousins who are muggles. Moving to Hogwarts he was showed lots of love. This love
helped Harry destroy evil at its worst and help him protect the ones he love. Even though it was plenty
