(Style depends on the audience but less formal than a report/ essay) 3)ENGAGE THE READER (Your personal experience, amusing stories, descriptions) 4)INCLUDE YOUR OPINIONS AND FACTS 5)USE SPECIFIC LANGUAGE.
- 3. 1. LAYOUT • Use an eye-catching title that engages your audience. • Introduction clearly defining the topic, not very lengthy. • Develop the topic in the other 2-5 paragraphs. • Summarise the topic/ give your final opinion/ final recommendation/ make your final comment.

STYLE •Use formal but subjective style. • Connect your paragraphs according to a clear structure. •Describe experiences/ compare and contrast/ present arguments/ provide facts/ offer suggestions. •Use personal examples, descriptions, reported speech, emphasis and others. •Check possible mistakes.
