• Introduction.
• Sensor.
• Instructions for Arduino Board.
• Hardware communication
interfaces present in the
Arduino board.
• Language used to code
Arduino.
• Hardware and Software.
• Important sensors used in IOT.
• Future.
• Conclusion.
CONTENT:-
SENSORS.
• DEF. :- In general, sensors are the sensitive
device which sense through Movement and
environment.
• Ex. :- Lightning.
Type of Sensors.
1. Temperature Sensor.
2. Gas sensor
3. Smoke sensor
4. Ultrasonic Sensors…….. Etc.
Arduino.
• Arduino is an open-source electronic platform
which is easy to use SOFTWARE and
HARDWARE.
• Arduino are a microcontroller which is capable
of reading input from Sensor to control
motors etc.
Hardware communication interfaces
present in the Arduino board
• It has several communication protocols like
12C, SPI Serial, etc…
• 12C :- It stand for integrated-circuit, is a serial
communication protocol specially design for
Microcontrollers.
• 12 C allows you to connect up to 128 devices
to your main board.
SPI(Serial Peripheral Interfaces.)
• SPI is typically much faster than 12C due to
simple protocol while data are shared with
devices.
• Each device requires a unique address wire.
• SPI is Commonly found in places where speed
is important such as SD Cards.
Language used to code Arduino
• The language used in Arduino is much the
simple form of C, and the functions, libraries
you use in C / C++…
IOT Hardware and Software.
SENSORS PROCESSORS ACTUATORS
TRANSDUCERS
INPUT
TRANSDUCERS
OUTPUT
TRANSDUCERS.
• Converted a signal from one physical form to another
form.
• The output of Sensor is signal, which is Converted into
Human Readable form.
CHARACTERISTICS.
1. Accuracy.
2. Range.
3. Resolution.
4. Error.
5. Drift.
IOT SOFTWARE
• The network software addresses its key areas of
networking and action through platforms
Embedded system and Middleware.
• Embedded system :- It is flexible in nature.
• It connect totally different devices and process
the data.
• DATA COLLECTION.
• DATA INTERGATION
• REAL TIME ANALYSIS
• APPLICATION AND PROCESS EXTENSION
Important sensors used in IOT.
Temperature Sensors :-
1. It is used to measure the temperature
through Electrical Signals.
2. It Depend on RTD (Resistance Temperature
Detectors)
3. The measurement of temperature sensors is
depend upon the Hotness and Coldness of an
object.
Pressure sensors:-
• A pressure sensors senses changes in gases
and liquids.
• When the pressure changes, the sensors
detects these changes, and communicates
them to connect systems.
• Pressure sensors are also used in the
manufacturing of water.
• Smart lightning.
• Smart Appliances.
• Smart Parking.
• Gas Detector.
• Intrusion Detector.
• Smart Road.
• Survelliance.
Humidity sensors:-
• It sense, measure, report both Moisture and
Air Temperature.
• Humidity Sensors are commonly found in
Heating, Air conditioning.
• Used in Both Industrial and Residential
Domain.
• Found in many areas such as Hospital, schools
etc.
CONCLUSION :- ?
Thank you.
