Relationship Between Stress, Anxiety and Phobias
Discuss the relationship between stress, anxiety, habits and phobias and describe how you would treat
these issues with hypnotherapy In order to understand the relationship between stress, anxiety, habits
and phobias, it is necessary to first define what each one is and how it might affect individuals. Stress
could be defined as a normal physiological response by the body to situations or stimuli which the
brain perceives as dangerous or threatening to the body. The body is a complex system and over time
developed a way of responding that was designed to keep us safe. Our subconscious mind is alert for
anything that might threaten our well being and when the brain perceives a threat a physiological
response occurs that prepares us ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Anxiety is therefore closely tied in with stress as a response to a perceived threat. Anxiety is
something everyone experiences from time to time; perhaps before a job interview, hospital operation
or whilst waiting for very important news. Anxiety is related to the stress response of fight or flight .
Whilst this response is useful for protection against physical dangers, it s not likely to be useful where
the perceived threat relates to something such as a driving test or a public speaking engagement other
than to makes us try to avoid the situation. Anxiety can be triggered by a number of factors. A past
experience that we found unpleasant or associate with uncomfortable feelings, may create anxiety
about it happening again in the future. We also learn ways of responding to stresses from our parents
and due to the environment we grew up in. Signs and symptoms of anxiety include for example,
churning stomach, muscle tension, headaches, palpitations, sweating, heightened alertness, inability to
relax and irritability. According to Mind , the mental health charity, long term anxiety is bad for
health, weakening the immune system, lowering resistance to infection and increasing the risk of
serious health

I Have A Dream Speech Primary Source
Primary Source Document:
I Have a Dream Speech Martin Luther King Jr.
Throughout history, there has been many documents written over historic events. In American history,
the civil rights movements has many documents about this particular time in history. However the I
have a Dream speech is a memorable and powerful document that provides the reader (audience) with
insight into the events of the civil rights movements. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote the speech I
have a Dream . King had earned a sociology degree from Morehouse College and attended the liberal
Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania. King thrived in all his studies, he was
valedictorian of his 1951 class and was also elected the student body president. ... Show more content

It assumes a better place with no hate, no discrimination, only peace and love, a place where people
aren t hurting others and showing hatred and destruction within their eyes. Uniquely, this document is
very believable to me. This speech shows it reliability because of how much things have change since
the speech was given. The words used by king were of simplicity but at the same time showed a
powerful meaning so that all the audience could understand the points he was showing in his speech
from beginning to end. Furthermore, the society of people that produced this speech including king,
helped teach us that if we believe strongly in anything that we do, then we will always be able to rise
and surpass any set limits in our way. It makes me learn that the power to overcome is the greatest
power of all. Additionally this document importance to history is that it broke so many racial barriers
and made the nation think about its future choices for the better of it. It made people think about their
actions and how wrong they were to treat others with such hate and discrimination in life. To not be
fair and judge over the tiniest of things including color which was the main judgment. Furthermore,
the speech brought more attention to the civil rights movement, which was lasting for years. It
gathered 250,000 people at the nation s capital. It made Kings influence of non violence reaction even
stronger to a nationwide and worldwide audience. The speech was carried on the radio and reprinted
in newspapers and magazines all over the United States and all over the entire world. Additionally the
speech made Congress move faster in passing the Civil Rights Act. These set of laws were passed in
1964. These laws gave African Americans more equal treatment than they ever had before the speech
and before King had ever started his race to equality

Civil Rights Reflection Paper
Vice President Johnson, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Chief Justice, President Eisenhower, Vice president Nixon,
President Truman, Reverend Clergy, fellow citizens: We observe today not a victory of party but a
celebration of freedom symbolizing an end as well as a beginning signifying renewal as well as
change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears
prescribed nearly a century and three quarters ago. The world is very different now. For man holds in
his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet
the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe the
belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. We
dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time
and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans
born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient
heritage and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this
nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the
world. Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any
burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success

The Tower Of Babel
a) One of God s reasons for thwarting the construction of the of the tower were that the people were
building the tower as a tribute to themselves, they were trying to be with God like. Almost as if they
were building their own Mount Olympus. It was an expression of their own greatness, as well as a
way to keep all of the people together like an exclusive club. God did not want the world to end up in
groups of seclusion. Another reason is that God probably didn t want a group of all powerful humans
causing havoc on the Earth. ...nothing they plan to do will be impossible for them If nothing was

over Africans. Their words almost aren t even language.
c) The theme of language and communication can definitely be related to the biblical story. The Tower
of Babel is a way of explaining why we have different languages, but it also shows that language isn t
a defining trait of superiority. Power is a definite theme that can be related to both stories. The
Company wants money and money is related to power. The builders want to make a name for
themselves, meaning they want to show their power. Exploration is another theme that can be related

Dance Critique
The traits I have obtained from dance can best be explained through the lessons I have experienced.
The most valuable lesson is that critiques can either damage or improve someone; the amount of
change the critique makes is for the receiver to choose. Dancing teaches that I will always be making
mistakes, but a positive mindset is key. To grow as a dancer, I must respectfully listen to the critiques
and make a valid effort to improve, not only for myself, but also for the team. Dancing has shaped me
into a confident, determined person that will be able to apply lessons learned throughout my life.
Teamwork is the most important trait when having a team that wants to excel at their sport, and I
believe at Chilton, we go beyond the expectations. To work as a team, you must have a certain bond
with each teammate to feel comfortable enough to correct them if something they are doing is
incorrect. Something I really stress to the freshman on the team is that they should feel comfortable to
telling me what I am doing wrong, even if I am a senior. To help the team, everyone must take part
and be a leader in their own ways, whether it be teaching a girl choreography she missed or improving
their own leaps. These skills learned from dance can be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

tasks that I have struggled with in the past. My growth from being a shy freshman to a supportive,

Community Of Practice
Introduction
As our world becomes increasingly complex, it is important for today s leaders to develop a network
of committed individuals who are willing to share knowledge and wisdom, challenge beliefs, and
invest in each other s success. These networks or communities of practice take many different forms,
such as professional learning communities (PLC), professional learning networks (PLN), mentoring,
coaching, social media groups, or social media chats. Even though each community may take many
different shapes and forms, they share common characteristics, such as a mutual interest, meaningful
interaction, and the investment of time. Although communities of practice require a significant
investment of time, interaction, and commitment, I ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Without time spent interacting and developing relationships with a group of individuals, we fail to
establish the trust that is necessary for growth to occur. Time helps develop the trust which is required
to challenge our thinking, motivate us to learn from others, and cultivate growth. A good example of
this occurred during the time of Jesus three year ministry on earth. He invested a substantial amount of
time mentoring, coaching, and challenging his disciples to adequately prepare them to share the gospel
throughout Europe and Asia.
In our fast paced society, finding time is a difficult task; however, throughout my interviews with
leaders from various professions, I have been reminded me of the correlation between time and
growth. Not only is time essential for developing trust, but it is also critical to growth. Many of the
leaders I interviewed have learned to spent significant amounts of time disciplining themselves
practice their skills, learn from others, and challenge their beliefs. Although I have always enjoyed
learning, I have found that I have isolated myself in my learning experiences. At times, I have ignored
and failed to appreciate the contributions of others. My ignorance has blinded me from trying new
ideas, challenging old beliefs, and trusting others enough to cultivate

Mark Lilla s Argument In The End Of Identity Liberalism
Mark Lilla s argument in The End of Identity Liberalism definitely recognizes the underlying problem
in the success story (Lilla 1) of the American diversity: a lack of unifying force (Lilla 1). However, it
seems to be too arbitrary to deduce from the defects of identity liberalism that the possible solution is
only an either or choice: the necessity of a unifying force should predicate the end of identity
liberalism. The end of identity liberalism will come at some time, but today must not be the time. The
end of identity liberalism should be based upon universally equal acceptance and representation of
different individuals, a point that is ignored by Lilla in his argument.
Before an reply to Lilla s argument, it is important to first explain the notion of identity liberalism.
Lilla believes that identity liberalism conveys a kind of moral panic about racial, gender ... Show more

However, the minority individuals now do not even have the ability to realize those harmful effects; in
another word, identity liberalism has not been pushed to the phase in which the aforementioned threats
from difference and the related conflicts are worth too many concerns. Lilla s argument is predicated
by minority groups with enough power and representation, the justification of which is missing in the
article. In the current phase, the under representation of minority groups is the much more serious
problem. This under representation, in the perspective of gender inequality, is illustrated by Audre
Lorde: what does it mean in personal and political terms when even the two Black women who did
present here were literally found at the last hour? (Lorde 22). If the minority groups get no
representation, how can the white Americans feel challenge and threat; if differences do not show up,
how can the exclusiveness of individual groups be broken and passed across? Therefore, the unity
matters only if the differences

Issues Over the Costs Of Textbooks
People have seen and despise the prices for used and brand new textbooks. There are many websites,
stores, and companies that sell textbooks at a biased price. The books being sold are variety to depend
on the dealer rather than optimizing to society s opinion, costs must be decided depending on the
quality of the textbook.
Stores and companies need to open choices looking at publicity views: when the original price of a
book costs $54.44, the used low quality price of the same book would only be few dollars less than the
actual text book, not even close to half of the price of the original. With the aim of reselling books,
online book buyers buy textbooks and sometimes other types of books for a profit. Online book buyers
operate year round like online marketplaces to give students the opportunity to sell their books even
when campus buyback periods are not in effect. Students receive a price quote or offer by simply
entering the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) number of the books they wish to sell. To
allow students selling multiple books to the same source, these online book buyers often offer free
shipping; which in actuality is built into the offer for the book. Nonetheless, prices are still based on
biased company and seller opinions.
Qualities for textbook are another reason for why prices should decrease in stores. At any given point
of time, a book value of equity per share (BVPS) is a good measure of the value of a stockholder
residual claim. BVPS

in Sicily and the Italian mainland delayed preparations for the cross Channel invasion through 1943 as
well. The postponements were a principal cause of concern at inter Allied conferences in Washington,
Quebec, Cairo, and Tehran. At the last gathering, Roosevelt and Stalin combined against Churchill to
insist on the adoption of May 1944 as an unalterable date for the invasion (World War II). In return,
Stalin agreed to mount a simultaneous offensive in Eastern Europe and to join the war against Japan

This pushes responsibility back on the other person and increases commitment to the solution.
Decision making techniques can provide invaluable help to someone that is confused by helping them
to paint their scenario options and then looking into the future and imagining them playing out. The
client can then predict how their will manage this type of situation, how they would feel and how
successful this option may be. The counsellor should also explain how unproductive it is to stay
tortured about things and not come to a decision. Counsellors should help the client to sort through
what they need to consider and make a date in order to meet a certain and effective decision.
Counsellors should also analyse decisions and make sure the client has the necessary commitment to
carry them out. Counsellors should make client s realise that not all decisions will feel great,
sometimes they are the best of two painful outcomes and may involve a loss. If a decision is delayed
or must be delayed for any reason, a new date must be made for finalising it. Force field analysis is a
very useful decision making technique. It helps individuals to make decisions by analysing the forces
for and against a change and it helps them to communicate with the reasoning behind the decision. It
can be used for two purposes: to decide whether to go ahead with a change and to increase your
chances of success by strengthening the forces supporting the change

Defining Toyota Production System Terms
Some of the various assessment tools used to better assess and evaluate the Toyota Production System
(TPS) are: Andon is a visual or audible system used to notify both management and production
workers when a problem or issue occurs in the production process. The goal of andon is to quickly
identify a problem, and its location, so that the issue may be rectified quickly thus reducing downtime
in the production process. As of 2014 Toyota began to retire what has become known as the andon
cord, or emergency cable, in the auto industry and a symbol of quality for a new push button design.
Yellow buttons placed at waist level and easy to access along the production process have become the
standard. Toyota first switched to push buttons during renovation of the Tsutsumi plant in Japan, but
has not yet switched in North America. Warning lights in hospitals rooms for patient monitoring is a
form of andon. Hoshin is the process of establishing direction, through proper management, and
setting goals and objectives for everyone to achieve. The hoshin process has three parts: select a key
objective, align implementation at all levels, and implement review improve. An example of hoshin
can be seen in the Army whereby individuals and units are given METL (Mission Essential Task List)
task to accomplish at each level in support of the overall objective of the higher objective. These tasks

William Bradford s writing displays his Puritan faith by including many of their ideals throughout Of
Plymouth Plantation. Bradford s beliefs give his writing a simple and unembellished style, like that of
Puritan dress. Furthermore, He demonstrates his faith by including the Puritan concept of election.
Foremost, Bradford displays his faith by incorporating providence into his writing. For example, he
infers that their trip across the Atlantic ended safely only through God s intervention. Throughout Of
Plymouth Plantation, William Bradford exhibits these aspects of his Puritan faith and lifestyle through
his simplistic writing style. The plainness of Puritan life and of Bradford s style exemplifies the effects
that his religion has on his writing. The Puritans removed anything that might distract them from their
life s devotion to God. For instance, they imposed strict dress codes upon their people, allowing only
soft, muted colors, and they did not allow their children to play with toys. Instead, the children
attended school their education was focused primarily on theology and worked from a young age.
These practices compare to Bradford s unornamented writing: But to omit other things (that I may be
brief) after long beating at sea they fell with that land which is called Cape Cod; the which being made

The Effectiveness Of Virtual Media
The Effectiveness of Virtual Media In the world of learning nowadays, there are many ways to acquire
knowledge other than schools and teachers. Learning an instrument can take place beyond the
traditional classroom setting. As technology improves over the years, learning can take place not only
in a teacher to students setting but also from a vast amount of resources on the internet and digital
media. During the course of ten weeks, I used various online resources to learn how to play the piano
by learning how to play three different songs. So far, I have successfully learned all three songs by
watching YouTube videos and exploring piano instruction websites. During the learning process I
have encountered different challenges; some I was ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By practicing easy piano songs such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars and O Christmas Tree , I became
much familiarized with the position of each key and comfortable with pressing the keys without lifting
my whole hand. Needless to say, I would not be able to figure out how the piano works if I did not
receive any kind of instruction. The first thing I did was to search for YouTube videos because it is an
excellent choice to learn almost anything, not just instruments. YouTube not only teaches the viewers
by demonstrating on how to complete a particular task, but also uses videos to help the viewers
visualize what is going on. There was a variety of piano videos that were made specifically for
beginners like me. There was also variation between each videos depending on who the instructor was
and in which angle it was shot. Generally, I chose the videos that contained a well experienced
instructor instead of an amateur, and a good camera angle that clearly showed all the piano keys. After
this learning experience, I am confident that I am no longer a beginner. Although instructions from the
videos were easy to follow, there were still some challenges that I encountered during my practices
that could not be solved by the internet resources entirely. Having questions meant that I would have
to comment on the video and wait for an answer or look for a new video in order to find solution.

James Madison Research Paper
James Madison was a very important person, he was known as the Father of the Constitution. He
wrote most of the Constitution because he was such a great writer and he was also very smart, he had
very bright ideas. Madison also wrote the Bill of Rights and was the key writer of that and he wrote a
third of the Federalist Papers. I think that everyone should know about James Madison not only
because he was known as the Father of the Constitution he was also one of our presidents from 1809
to 1817 putting him as president through the war of 1812.

the key author of them. Not only was he the author of the Bill of Rights he was also one of the authors
of the Federalist Papers. The Federalist Papers were a series of 85 essays that supported the
Constitution. James Madison had some help from Alexander Hamilton and John Jay. The three of

In conclusion James Madison is a very important person in the history of America. Everyone should
know about him and what he did because he shaped our country into what it is today. He was a very
important author writing the Bill of Rights almost by himself and being a second and third author to
the Constitution and Federalist Papers. James was a very smart person and always stayed strong to his

The Importance Of Naturalism In Eveline
Eveline is a short story in the genre of naturalism which means that it centres on life as it is and it
stresses the importance of the environment and heredity in shaping human destiny. It was written by
James Joyce in 1904 as part of a collection of portraits of people who lived in Dublin around 1900
titled Dubliners . The story features only two main settings Eveline s house and the port and lasts only
the span of one day. It was written by Joyce to show the monotonous lives of the people who lived in
Dublin at the time.
Joyce was openly critical of Irish parochialism and he wrote Eveline to prove his belief that Ireland
does not permit the development of individuality, as the character Eveline is presented by Joyce to be
the absolute epitome of Irish parochialism; rather than go after her ambition to leave Ireland for a
better life, Eveline s life is lead by her sense of duty. We see this when Eveline doubts her ambitions,
In her home any way she had shelter and food; she had those whom she had known all her life about
her, The simplistic reasoning that Joyce uses conveys the absolute autonomy of Eveline s life as her
only reasons to not chase her ambition are basic requirements for most people s lives. Eveline,
unfortunately, leads the stereotypical life for a woman in Ireland around that time as her life was ruled
by her sense of duty and the men in her life rather than by her ambitions and herself. The reason Joyce
did this was so he could share the

Sexual Response Cycles
Men and women all go through sexual response cycles. The response cycle occurs in both sexes in
four phases. They are excitement, plateau, orgasm, and resolution. The first phase, excitement can
come from different things such as kissing, sexual thoughts, erotic videos or pictures, all of which can
lead to arousal. During this phase, the body is preparing for intercourse. For both men and women,
excitement causes similar changes to their bodies such as nipples and earlobes swelling. Muscle
tension, heart rate, blood pressure, and blood flow increases. With these changes, it can lead to heavier
breathing as well as a change in color to skin, commonly referred to as being flushed . While both men
and women experience increased blood flow, the increase in blood flow causes different things
between each sex. Men will experience an erection in the penis whereas women will experience
swelling in the clitoris and labia. Also, women s breasts can swell but men will not experience the
same swelling. The next phase, plateau, is before the orgasm. It causes our bodies to react in different
ways, much of which is a continuation of the excitement phase, such as ... Show more content on

walls, and overall pleasure. Orgasms that women experience are typically longer than what male s

We can start at the beginning. The corporeal archive database would be created through the University

One of the goals in creation is to hold a large capacity of information. The system would be paperless
and convert any other outdated document to digital form as well. Once established globally, all records
ever created in the aspect of the body, from every association, would be submitted to the global
corporeal archives maintaining organization. This organization will automatically import the
documents into the system, organizing them appropriately by the patient. Every individual record
would include a photo of each person. The documents in each record can be information provided by
the patient, including, but not limited to physician s notes. The papers will contain a variety of
information on a patient s health or body history. Even personal items such as significant illnesses and
medical conditions, lab findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Other fact based data including
history of drug abuse or alcohol use, and smoking, also physical exams, allergies, medications, and
any adverse reactions. The paperwork would list dates, times, attending personnel, admittance and

Hippocrates Social Phobias
Introduction: Symptoms of social phobias have been described since antiquity. The concept of social
phobias can be traced as far back as 2000 years ago. In 400 B.C., Hippocrates described an overtly
anxious patient named Nicanor, who was plagued by fear in social settings. He dares not come into the
company for fear he should be misused, disgraced, overshoot himself in gestures or speeches, or be
sick. He thinks every man is observing him (Jefferson, 2001, p. 4). Hippocrates did not believe the
Gods were blamed for fear as most contemporaries of his time alleged. Insisting the cause was related
to a physical malfunction within the individual, a class of melancholia or a type of insanity.

There are many types of approaches to treat anxieties, but the leading treatments tend to be a
combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a graduated exposure therapy such as

combination of cognitive restructuring and Systematic Desensitization helps the client systematically
confront fears in a live or imagined environment. Cognitive restructuring along with exposure therapy
appears to be an effective treatment and demonstrates a larger effect than exposure therapy or
restructuring alone. Through repeated exposure, the client is helped to invalidate fears and increase

Alexander The Great Legacy
Alexander the Great is the most famous conqueror in the history of the world. His legacy and conquest
has shaped the world we know today. Many leaders after him have looked to him as an example of
what a good leader should be. Alexander the Great s tomb was one of the biggest tourist attractions of
the ancient world. Roman emperors, including Pompey, Julius Caesar, and Caligula traveled to
Alexandria to pay their respects. It all started at the age of 18 when Alexander took charge of the
Companion Cavalry and helped his father in defeating the Athenian and Theban armies. Starting from
such a young age Alexander has been already shaping the empire he would create. At the age of
twenty he became king, then by the age of twenty six he conquered the Persian Empire and at age
thirty explored the Indian frontier. He was an unstoppable force conquering the world. Alexander the
Great is the greatest conqueror of the known world, because of the personal teachings of Aristotle of
Stagira, his innovated military genius and multicultural integration methods. Aristotle is one of the
greatest intellectual figures of Western history. Still today we are using his works in philosophy and

The Importance Of Internet Censorship
The internet should not be censored for violent and sexual content. Parents should trust their children
and hold them to the honor system. Additionally, internet censorship may lead to a reduced amount of
creativity and collaboration. Internet censorship would affect the public immensely as it is a direct
violation of the public s right to express themselves in whatever manner they choose. Parents should
trust their children and hold them to the honor system when it comes to using public resources such as
the internet. Ideally, parents should not have to constantly worry about their children using the
internet. The reality of the situation is, parents do worry about everything their child might encounter
as a result of the evil in the world. However, parents ought to raise their children in a fashion where
they are consciously able to determine right from wrong within their decisions. Regardless of the
manner in which parents discipline their children, children will always be curious to explore the realm
of the internet whilst possibly encountering something inappropriate for their viewing. Consequently,
establishing an honor system between the parent and the child early on creates a mutual level of
understanding. Along with the establishment of trust, the parent is capable of frequently checking in
with the child in regards to the child s use of the internet. Furthermore, the parent should possess

The Role of a Divorce Mediator in Broadrun, VA
Although a judge and a divorce mediator in Broadrun, Virginia both have the ability to finalize a
divorce case, the way they do so is quite different. The role of a divorce mediator in Broadrun,
Virginia is more of a helping one. In contrast, the role of a judge is that of a decision maker. In most
instances, the parties are more satisfied with the results of their cases when they use a divorce
mediator, primarily because they are able to have a direct role in the negotiation of a settlement
agreement.
A divorce mediator assists the parties in a divorce case with creating a settlement agreement. To do so,
the divorce mediator will first meet with the parties to discuss their positions in the dispute. The
divorce mediator will next attempt to help the parties find common ground in their positions. Once the
parties have reached agreement on an issue, the mediator will make note of the agreement and move
on to the next contested issue. Issue by issue, the divorce mediator will discuss the case with the
parties and help them settle as many issues as possible.
Whereas a judge will make a decision for the parties, the mediator helps them make their own
decisions. In fact, a mediator has no decision making power during mediation. The fate of the case is
entirely in the hands of the parties.

Agriculture Pollution Developing means of farming agriculture is the reasons humans live in the
world they do today. Modern agricultural practices have started the process of agriculture pollution.
This process causes the degradation of the eco system, land, and environment due to the day by
products of agriculture. Agriculture pollution in the United States is a serious problem which affects
the health and sustainability of our great nation.
Modern farming and agricultural operations contribute to the degradation and contamination of our
environment as well as the neighboring ecosystems. Fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, animal manure
and other Argo chemicals are rich in chemical nutrients and toxic substances which are often the major
sources of agricultural pollution. The use of these various types of products can affect water quality
when it rains, and the contaminated soils and water is washed into the waters or into ground waters.
These chemicals can also be absorbed by plants which are then consumed by animals and even
humans, harmful to animal and human health. There are many causes of this pollution.
Leaching of pesticides, herbicides and other Argo chemicals, these chemicals are the overriding causes
of agricultural pollution owing to the numbers of invasive pests, weeds, and diseases. They re highly
toxic and have the potential of remaining in the environment for ages. When it rains, these chemicals
will leak

effect and explain to them using the previous examples what cause and effect is. For example, when
the students ate to much candy they got a tummy ache, the cause of the tummy ache was eating too
much candy and the effect of eating too much candy was a tummy ache, I will do the same thing and
use the example of tripping over something. Once they have a pretty good understanding of the
concept I will read the book to them. Once I am done reading the book the students and I will go back
through it and figure out all of the examples of cause and effect throughout the book. For example, in
the book it reads If you take a mouse to school, he ll ask you for your lunch box. When you give him

Introduction Of Sudden Cardiac Death
Introduction
Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is the leading cause of death in exercising young athletes. 1 Current
estimates of the incidence of SCD in athletes range from almost one in a million to 1:23,000 athletes
per year, while some subpopulations of athletes are reported at even higher risk with an incidence of 1
in 3,000. 2 Such deaths often receive more attention because of the youth of the victims and the
perception that physically trained athletes are healthy. 3 SCD is often a result of structural cardiac
abnormalities that can be detected through the use of pre participation physicals. 1 Pre participation
cardiovascular screening is the systematic practice of medically evaluating large, general populations
of athletes before participation to eliminate risk of SCD. 3 The National Athletic Trainers Association
(NATA) requires BOC (Board of Certification) certified athletic trainers to be educated, trained, and
evaluated in six major practice domains. 4 Prevention and clinical evaluation are two of the six
domains. The American Heart Association suggests that pre screening athletes can improve the
detection of cardiac abnormalities. 5 Athletic Trainers are increasingly required to be the health care
professionals administering pre participation physicals. Athletic trainers need to have clinical
competence such as knowledge and skill, and confidence in performing cardiac auscultations to
effectively detect cardiac abnormalities in athletes. The purpose of this study is

Role Of Lxr On Melanogenesis In Vitiligo
LXR α is ligand activated nuclear transcription factor which regulates the expression of target genes
involved in various physiological processes.13 LXR has been shown to be expressed in different
cutaneous sites like sebaceous glands, sweat glands and hair follicle.10 Furthermore, both LXR α and
LXR β are expressed in cultured human keratinocytes and throughout all layers of the human
epidermis.14
Scarce number of studies has discussed the effect of activated LXR on melanogenesis in Vitiligo.

This is in agreement with the finding of Russell et al.10 This observation could be explained by that
site of hair follicle melanocytes or may be due to presence of LXRα in immortalized epidermal
keratinocytes which locate basally [10]. The presence of LXRα and LXRβ mRNA within human
immortalized epidermal keratinocytes was also documented.20
A nearly significant association between the epidermal nucleo cytoplasmic expression of LXR α and
the high VIDA scores was noted in studied cases of the present work (P=0.09). It might through a light

Unfortunately, this finding had not been noted before, therefore it is considered as an area requiring
additional research.
The current work revealed a significant association between the epidermal nucleo cytoplasmic

observation that LXR activation inhibited melanogenesis through the acceleration of extracellular

degradation.6
Also, emodin could inhibit melanogenesis by promoting degradation of MITF protein through
upregulation of the LXR α gene.21

Nai-Ni Chen and Taiwanese-American Modern Dance
NAI NI CHEN AND TAIWANESE AMERICAN MODERN DANCE
Taiwan and America have always had strong relations since the early 1900s. However, during the Cold
War, they became even closer allies. During this time, many famous American dancers such as Alvin
Ailey, José Limón and Paul Taylor visited Taiwan. They brought along the ideas of American style
democracy embedded in the art form of modern dance, which also expressed individual freedom. In
addition, the United States aid to Taiwan during the 1950s and 1960s helped Taiwan create the
booming economy it enjoys today. In the 1970s, the growth of economic changes allowed for the
numbers of professionals and intellectuals to grow. This caused the middle class to expand, and the
Taiwanese people became interested in their culture, religion, and art, and how it was distinct from
that of China. Modern dance and Western classical music in Taiwan reflected the push for
modernization in society. The United States became the top training destination for young Taiwanese
dancers. Especially in 1987, after martial law in Taiwan was lifted, many dancers began setting up
their own troupes. One of the most famous American trained Taiwanese dancers would be Lin Hwai

Throughout all the years I have been involved with sports, I ve learned Michael Jordan is one of the
most prolific athletes of his time. We define success as achieving wealth, respect, or fame, and Jordan
has accomplished more than most men will even attempt in their lifetime. Some try and compare
today s superstar athletes such as LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant with the great Michael Jordan, but I
am here to tell you that is impossible. Jordan changed the game and made it what it is today. Jordan s
life is filled with struggle and triumph. Despite all of the obstacles he faced, he still became one of the
best basketball players of his time.
Like most of us, Michael Jordan grew up in a normal home with normal family members. Jordan was
the fourth of five kids being raised by their mother and father, Deloris and James Jordan. The Jordan
family moved from Brooklyn, New York to North Carolina, where the young superstar could make a
name for himself. Just as Canadian recording artist Drake expresses in his popular new single,
Michael Jordan actually started from the bottom so far at the bottom that he got cut from the high
school basketball team his sophomore year for not being tall enough. This motivated Jordan to do
great things later in his life; he was quoted in his later years saying Obstacles don t have to stop you. If
you run into a wall, don t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work
around it . The very next year after a long

  • 2. Relationship Between Stress, Anxiety and Phobias Discuss the relationship between stress, anxiety, habits and phobias and describe how you would treat these issues with hypnotherapy In order to understand the relationship between stress, anxiety, habits and phobias, it is necessary to first define what each one is and how it might affect individuals. Stress could be defined as a normal physiological response by the body to situations or stimuli which the brain perceives as dangerous or threatening to the body. The body is a complex system and over time developed a way of responding that was designed to keep us safe. Our subconscious mind is alert for anything that might threaten our well being and when the brain perceives a threat a physiological response occurs that prepares us ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Anxiety is therefore closely tied in with stress as a response to a perceived threat. Anxiety is something everyone experiences from time to time; perhaps before a job interview, hospital operation or whilst waiting for very important news. Anxiety is related to the stress response of fight or flight . Whilst this response is useful for protection against physical dangers, it s not likely to be useful where the perceived threat relates to something such as a driving test or a public speaking engagement other than to makes us try to avoid the situation. Anxiety can be triggered by a number of factors. A past experience that we found unpleasant or associate with uncomfortable feelings, may create anxiety about it happening again in the future. We also learn ways of responding to stresses from our parents and due to the environment we grew up in. Signs and symptoms of anxiety include for example, churning stomach, muscle tension, headaches, palpitations, sweating, heightened alertness, inability to relax and irritability. According to Mind , the mental health charity, long term anxiety is bad for health, weakening the immune system, lowering resistance to infection and increasing the risk of serious health ... In American history, the civil rights movements has many documents about this particular time in history. However the I have a Dream speech is a memorable and powerful document that provides the reader (audience) with insight into the events of the civil rights movements. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote the speech I have a Dream . King had earned a sociology degree from Morehouse College and attended the liberal Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania. King thrived in all his studies, he was valedictorian of his 1951 class and was also elected the student body president. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... It assumes a better place with no hate, no discrimination, only peace and love, a place where people aren t hurting others and showing hatred and destruction within their eyes. Uniquely, this document is very believable to me. This speech shows it reliability because of how much things have change since the speech was given. The words used by king were of simplicity but at the same time showed a powerful meaning so that all the audience could understand the points he was showing in his speech from beginning to end. Furthermore, the society of people that produced this speech including king, helped teach us that if we believe strongly in anything that we do, then we will always be able to rise and surpass any set limits in our way. It makes me learn that the power to overcome is the greatest power of all. Additionally this document importance to history is that it broke so many racial barriers and made the nation think about its future choices for the better of it. It made people think about their actions and how wrong they were to treat others with such hate and discrimination in life. To not be fair and judge over the tiniest of things including color which was the main judgment. Furthermore, the speech brought more attention to the civil rights movement, which was lasting for years. It gathered 250,000 people at the nation s capital. It made Kings influence of non violence reaction even stronger to a nationwide and worldwide audience. The speech was carried on the radio and reprinted in newspapers and magazines all over the United States and all over the entire world. Additionally the speech made Congress move faster in passing the Civil Rights Act. These set of laws were passed in 1964. These laws gave African Americans more equal treatment than they ever had before the speech and before King had ever started his race to equality ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Civil Rights Reflection Paper Vice President Johnson, Mr. Speaker, Mr. Chief Justice, President Eisenhower, Vice president Nixon, President Truman, Reverend Clergy, fellow citizens: We observe today not a victory of party but a celebration of freedom symbolizing an end as well as a beginning signifying renewal as well as change. For I have sworn before you and Almighty God the same solemn oath our forebears prescribed nearly a century and three quarters ago. The world is very different now. For man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish all forms of human poverty and all forms of human life. And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. We dare not forget today that we are the heirs of that first revolution. Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans born in this century, tempered by war, disciplined by a hard and bitter peace, proud of our ancient heritage and unwilling to witness or permit the slow undoing of those human rights to which this nation has always been committed, and to which we are committed today at home and around the world. Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of ... • 7. Dance Critique The traits I have obtained from dance can best be explained through the lessons I have experienced. The most valuable lesson is that critiques can either damage or improve someone; the amount of change the critique makes is for the receiver to choose. Dancing teaches that I will always be making mistakes, but a positive mindset is key. To grow as a dancer, I must respectfully listen to the critiques and make a valid effort to improve, not only for myself, but also for the team. Dancing has shaped me into a confident, determined person that will be able to apply lessons learned throughout my life. Teamwork is the most important trait when having a team that wants to excel at their sport, and I believe at Chilton, we go beyond the expectations. To work as a team, you must have a certain bond with each teammate to feel comfortable enough to correct them if something they are doing is incorrect. Something I really stress to the freshman on the team is that they should feel comfortable to telling me what I am doing wrong, even if I am a senior. Community Of Practice Introduction As our world becomes increasingly complex, it is important for today s leaders to develop a network of committed individuals who are willing to share knowledge and wisdom, challenge beliefs, and invest in each other s success. These networks or communities of practice take many different forms, such as professional learning communities (PLC), professional learning networks (PLN), mentoring, coaching, social media groups, or social media chats. Without time spent interacting and developing relationships with a group of individuals, we fail to establish the trust that is necessary for growth to occur. Time helps develop the trust which is required to challenge our thinking, motivate us to learn from others, and cultivate growth. A good example of this occurred during the time of Jesus three year ministry on earth. He invested a substantial amount of time mentoring, coaching, and challenging his disciples to adequately prepare them to share the gospel throughout Europe and Asia. In our fast paced society, finding time is a difficult task; however, throughout my interviews with leaders from various professions, I have been reminded me of the correlation between time and growth. Not only is time essential for developing trust, but it is also critical to growth. Many of the leaders I interviewed have learned to spent significant amounts of time disciplining themselves practice their skills, learn from others, and challenge their beliefs. Mark Lilla s Argument In The End Of Identity Liberalism Mark Lilla s argument in The End of Identity Liberalism definitely recognizes the underlying problem in the success story (Lilla 1) of the American diversity: a lack of unifying force (Lilla 1). However, it seems to be too arbitrary to deduce from the defects of identity liberalism that the possible solution is only an either or choice: the necessity of a unifying force should predicate the end of identity liberalism. The end of identity liberalism will come at some time, but today must not be the time. The end of identity liberalism should be based upon universally equal acceptance and representation of different individuals, a point that is ignored by Lilla in his argument. Lilla s argument is predicated by minority groups with enough power and representation, the justification of which is missing in the article. In the current phase, the under representation of minority groups is the much more serious problem. This under representation, in the perspective of gender inequality, is illustrated by Audre Lorde: what does it mean in personal and political terms when even the two Black women who did present here were literally found at the last hour? (Lorde 22). If the minority groups get no representation, how can the white Americans feel challenge and threat; if differences do not show up, how can the exclusiveness of individual groups be broken and passed across? • 11. Issues Over the Costs Of Textbooks People have seen and despise the prices for used and brand new textbooks. There are many websites, stores, and companies that sell textbooks at a biased price. The books being sold are variety to depend on the dealer rather than optimizing to society s opinion, costs must be decided depending on the quality of the textbook. Stores and companies need to open choices looking at publicity views: when the original price of a book costs $54.44, the used low quality price of the same book would only be few dollars less than the actual text book, not even close to half of the price of the original. With the aim of reselling books, online book buyers buy textbooks and sometimes other types of books for a profit. Online book buyers operate year round like online marketplaces to give students the opportunity to sell their books even when campus buyback periods are not in effect. Students receive a price quote or offer by simply entering the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) number of the books they wish to sell. Operation Torch was the name for the landing in North Africa. This effectively postponed Roundup again, while subsequent operations in Sicily and the Italian mainland delayed preparations for the cross Channel invasion through 1943 as well. The postponements were a principal cause of concern at inter Allied conferences in Washington, Quebec, Cairo, and Tehran. At the last gathering, Roosevelt and Stalin combined against Churchill to insist on the adoption of May 1944 as an unalterable date for the invasion (World War II). In return, Stalin agreed to mount a simultaneous offensive in Eastern Europe and to join the war against Japan once Germany had been defeated. The decision taken at Tehran was a final indication of American determination to stage the cross Channel invasion and a defeat for Alan Brooke, Churchill s chief of staff and the principal opponent of premature action. The Importance Of Naturalism In Eveline Eveline is a short story in the genre of naturalism which means that it centres on life as it is and it stresses the importance of the environment and heredity in shaping human destiny. The story features only two main settings Eveline s house and the port and lasts only the span of one day. It was written by Joyce to show the monotonous lives of the people who lived in Dublin at the time. Joyce was openly critical of Irish parochialism and he wrote Eveline to prove his belief that Ireland does not permit the development of individuality, as the character Eveline is presented by Joyce to be the absolute epitome of Irish parochialism; rather than go after her ambition to leave Ireland for a better life, Eveline s life is lead by her sense of duty. We see this when Eveline doubts her ambitions, In her home any way she had shelter and food; she had those whom she had known all her life about her, The simplistic reasoning that Joyce uses conveys the absolute autonomy of Eveline s life as her only reasons to not chase her ambition are basic requirements for most people s lives. The role of a divorce mediator in Broadrun, Virginia is more of a helping one. In contrast, the role of a judge is that of a decision maker. In most instances, the parties are more satisfied with the results of their cases when they use a divorce mediator, primarily because they are able to have a direct role in the negotiation of a settlement agreement. A divorce mediator assists the parties in a divorce case with creating a settlement agreement. To do so, the divorce mediator will first meet with the parties to discuss their positions in the dispute. The divorce mediator will next attempt to help the parties find common ground in their positions. Once the parties have reached agreement on an issue, the mediator will make note of the agreement and move on to the next contested issue. Issue by issue, the divorce mediator will discuss the case with the parties and help them settle as many issues as possible. Whereas a judge will make a decision for the parties, the mediator helps them make their own decisions. In fact, a mediator has no decision making power during mediation. The fate of the case is entirely in the hands of the parties. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 32. Agriculture Pollution Mr. Armstrong Eng. Comp. 22 October, 2017 Agriculture Pollution Developing means of farming agriculture is the reasons humans live in the world they do today. Modern agricultural practices have started the process of agriculture pollution. This process causes the degradation of the eco system, land, and environment due to the day by products of agriculture. Agriculture pollution in the United States is a serious problem which affects the health and sustainability of our great nation. Modern farming and agricultural operations contribute to the degradation and contamination of our environment as well as the neighboring ecosystems. Fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, animal manure and other Argo chemicals are rich in chemical nutrients and toxic substances which are often the major sources of agricultural pollution. The use of these various types of products can affect water quality when it rains, and the contaminated soils and water is washed into the waters or into ground waters. These chemicals can also be absorbed by plants which are then consumed by animals and even humans, harmful to animal and human health. There are many causes of this pollution. Leaching of pesticides, herbicides and other Argo chemicals, these chemicals are the overriding causes of agricultural pollution owing to the numbers of invasive pests, weeds, and diseases. • 33. Therapeutic Effects And Healing Abilities Of The Drug That... People tend to over exaggerate the harmful effect of marijuana, some say marijuana is wrong in many ways, including brain damage, damage to the reproductive system, and weakening of the immune system. In addition people say that marijuana is a gateway drug that leads the users to try much harder drugs. This is not always the case all the time however. We now know significantly more about cannabis than most substances we eat or pharmaceutical medications we intake. Based on my research there are many therapeutic effects and healing abilities of the drug that help with disease and mental illness. People have developed and used marijuana for all intents and purposes since the start of written history. Cannabis based materials dating to 7,000 B.C.E. have been recuperated in northern China, and the plant s utilization as a therapeutic and euphoric specialists go back about as far. The physical, therapeutic, and psychoactive effects a person experiences after ingesting marijuana are derived mostly from a family of unique chemicals in the plant known as cannabinoids. Of the dozens of cannabinoids in marijuana, simply one which is THC, is basically psychoactive. Most strenuous chemicals in the plant have great therapeutic properties but do not bring euphoria. Many compounds, specifically the cannabinoid cannabidiol (CBD) offset the psychoactive properties of THC. In 2010, researchers at Harvard Medical School advocated that that some of the drug s benefits may actually be from ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Transport Tanya: Good morning Mr. Khanna Mr. Khanna: Good morning Tanya Tanya: How are you Mr. Khanna Mr. Khanna: Not so great, been travelling a lot and its become so tiring. Tanya: Oh I m sorry. What s the problem? Mr. Khanna: The long hours of train ride just from city to city is very tiring. I have to do it almost twice a week. I don even end up spending so much time with my family. Spending time with family is very important with me. However, travelling from city to city might take 8 hours or 10 hours as well. When I come home, I m very tired and just want to sleep. This makes me loose even more time to spend with family. Tanya: Well Mr. Khanna I would like to tell you something. Trains have existed on the earth for many years now. They first started off by trading goods from countries to country. Then came the idea of taking people from one place to another. Train is something that is an affordable mode of transportation which is helpful to many people. However, trains take a long time to get from places to places because there can be a few problems that can occur because of the trains moving faster. Trains take such a long time to get from city to city which results in uncomfortable journeys and wasting time for long hours. Since we live in a growing global economy we require faster, cheaper, safer and more efficient transportation modes. Our roads, airports, and ports are congested. • 35. Mouse To School The book I chose is, If You Take A Mouse To School written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond. If I were to use this book in a second grade classroom and be questioned about it by the principle I would say that I am using it to teach the concept of cause and effect. Concept books are great to use because there are so many benefits that can come out of them. In this book particularly it would be a great simulant of discussion for the students, they can explore the different ideas within the book and talk amongst each other about their own opinions. It is also is a great way to introduce the lesson I am about to teach in a fun way that won t have the students dreading the assignment from the beginning of class. The students will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... I may ask if anyone had ever eaten to much candy or if anyone had tripped over something. Once the students share their answers I will then ask them what happened once they ate to much candy or once they tripped over something. Once everyone is done sharing I will introduce the topic of cause and effect and explain to them using the previous examples what cause and effect is. For example, when the students ate to much candy they got a tummy ache, the cause of the tummy ache was eating too much candy and the effect of eating too much candy was a tummy ache, I will do the same thing and use the example of tripping over something. Once they have a pretty good understanding of the concept I will read the book to them. Once I am done reading the book the students and I will go back through it and figure out all of the examples of cause and effect throughout the book. For example, in the book it reads If you take a mouse to school, he ll ask you for your lunch box. When you give him your lunchbox, he ll want a sandwich and a snack for later. After reading this the students and I would discuss that the cause of the mouse wanting the lunch box was because he was going to school and because he was given a lunch box he wanted to fill it with food for later and that was the effect the mouse receiving the lunch box. Once the students understand this concept pretty well, they will break into groups of two and create a short story of cause and effect using any animal they want. Just a couple sentences of using cause and effect so that the teacher can check for their understanding. Having them create their own story will help them to use their imagination, writing skills, and help them to work with a ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 37. Introduction Of Sudden Cardiac Death Introduction Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is the leading cause of death in exercising young athletes. 1 Current estimates of the incidence of SCD in athletes range from almost one in a million to 1:23,000 athletes per year, while some subpopulations of athletes are reported at even higher risk with an incidence of 1 in 3,000. 2 Such deaths often receive more attention because of the youth of the victims and the perception that physically trained athletes are healthy. 3 SCD is often a result of structural cardiac abnormalities that can be detected through the use of pre participation physicals. 1 Pre participation cardiovascular screening is the systematic practice of medically evaluating large, general populations of athletes before participation to eliminate risk of SCD. 3 The National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) requires BOC (Board of Certification) certified athletic trainers to be educated, trained, and evaluated in six major practice domains. 4 Prevention and clinical evaluation are two of the six domains. The American Heart Association suggests that pre screening athletes can improve the detection of cardiac abnormalities. 5 Athletic Trainers are increasingly required to be the health care professionals administering pre participation physicals. Athletic trainers need to have clinical competence such as knowledge and skill, and confidence in performing cardiac auscultations to effectively detect cardiac abnormalities in athletes. • 38. Role Of Lxr On Melanogenesis In Vitiligo LXR α is ligand activated nuclear transcription factor which regulates the expression of target genes involved in various physiological processes.13 LXR has been shown to be expressed in different cutaneous sites like sebaceous glands, sweat glands and hair follicle.10 Furthermore, both LXR α and LXR β are expressed in cultured human keratinocytes and throughout all layers of the human epidermis.14 Scarce number of studies has discussed the effect of activated LXR on melanogenesis in Vitiligo. Kumar and his associates (2010) demonstrated that LXR α was also expressed in melanocytes and it was up regulated in the melanocytes from perilesional skin of vitiligo patients in comparison to non lesional skin, suggesting that LXR α might be ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is in agreement with the finding of Russell et al.10 This observation could be explained by that site of hair follicle melanocytes or may be due to presence of LXRα in immortalized epidermal keratinocytes which locate basally [10]. The presence of LXRα and LXRβ mRNA within human immortalized epidermal keratinocytes was also documented.20 A nearly significant association between the epidermal nucleo cytoplasmic expression of LXR α and the high VIDA scores was noted in studied cases of the present work (P=0.09). It might through a light on the value of LXR α expression as prognostic markers evaluating the disease severity. Unfortunately, this finding had not been noted before, therefore it is considered as an area requiring additional research. The current work revealed a significant association between the epidermal nucleo cytoplasmic expression of LXR α and absence of melanin pigment (P=0.001). This can be explained by Lee et al observation that LXR activation inhibited melanogenesis through the acceleration of extracellular signal regulated kinase (ERK) mediated microphthalmia associated transcription factor (MITF) degradation.6 Also, emodin could inhibit melanogenesis by promoting degradation of MITF protein through upregulation of the LXR α gene.21 In the current study, there was a nearly significant correlation between the LXR α epidermal H score in lesional skin and age of patients (P=0.08). • 39. Nai-Ni Chen and Taiwanese-American Modern Dance NAI NI CHEN AND TAIWANESE AMERICAN MODERN DANCE Taiwan and America have always had strong relations since the early 1900s. However, during the Cold War, they became even closer allies. During this time, many famous American dancers such as Alvin Ailey, José Limón and Paul Taylor visited Taiwan. They brought along the ideas of American style democracy embedded in the art form of modern dance, which also expressed individual freedom. In addition, the United States aid to Taiwan during the 1950s and 1960s helped Taiwan create the booming economy it enjoys today. In the 1970s, the growth of economic changes allowed for the numbers of professionals and intellectuals to grow. This caused the middle class to expand, and the Taiwanese people became interested in their culture, religion, and art, and how it was distinct from that of China. Modern dance and Western classical music in Taiwan reflected the push for modernization in society. The United States became the top training destination for young Taiwanese dancers. Especially in 1987, after martial law in Taiwan was lifted, many dancers began setting up their own troupes. One of the most famous American trained Taiwanese dancers would be Lin Hwai min, who later returned to Taiwan and in 1973 founded the world acclaimed Cloud Gate Dance Theater of Taiwan. However, this paper will be focusing on a lesser known Taiwanese American modern dancer: Nai Ni Chen. Chen is currently a successful modern dancer in Fort Lee, New ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 40. His Airness Michael Jordan Throughout all the years I have been involved with sports, I ve learned Michael Jordan is one of the most prolific athletes of his time. We define success as achieving wealth, respect, or fame, and Jordan has accomplished more than most men will even attempt in their lifetime. Some try and compare today s superstar athletes such as LeBron James, and Kobe Bryant with the great Michael Jordan, but I am here to tell you that is impossible. Jordan changed the game and made it what it is today. Jordan s life is filled with struggle and triumph. Despite all of the obstacles he faced, he still became one of the best basketball players of his time. Like most of us, Michael Jordan grew up in a normal home with normal family members. Jordan was the fourth of five kids being raised by their mother and father, Deloris and James Jordan. The Jordan family moved from Brooklyn, New York to North Carolina, where the young superstar could make a name for himself. Just as Canadian recording artist Drake expresses in his popular new single, Michael Jordan actually started from the bottom so far at the bottom that he got cut from the high school basketball team his sophomore year for not being tall enough. This motivated Jordan to do great things later in his life; he was quoted in his later years saying Obstacles don t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it . The very next year after a long ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
