to attend college is one of great importance, but the choice may be made too soon. Murray

with factors such as the misleading statements to students about college and the high academic
standards students must conform to. In discussions of Charles Murray, he expresses his opinion on
the thoughts and feelings that are being transferred to students before college, claiming them to be
misleading. Murray brings to light the problem that exists in the constant pushing of guidance
counselors, teachers, and even politicians to aspire for a college degree no matter what, treating

I had the opportunity and pleasure to attend the Latin Cultural event held in the event center located
in the Cunningham Memorial Library. The event was sponsored by the language department of
Indiana State University and featured many different items to look at culturally. At the event, there
were statues, posters, games, contests, and presentations depicting the history of the Latin culture
and influence that the Latin culture has had on our modern society. Latin has influenced our culture
in every aspect including fashion, music, education, law, technology, and science, and the Latin
