Many students hate mathematics because they find it difficult to understand and think it is useless. It is taught from elementary school through college. Some reasons for disliking it include that it involves dealing with numbers, formulas, and abstractions that give students headaches and make them dizzy. Additionally, students may not understand how mathematics applies to daily life tasks like telling time, handling money, and measuring. While mathematics is important and used all around us, many students only see it as painful and difficult without realizing its relevance. A positive mindset and understanding how mathematics is useful could help students like it more.

1. Why many Students Hate Mathematic
Mathematic is one kind of lesson that is given to the students since Elementary
School up to Junior and Senior High School or maybe up to University or college.
Studying mathematic for many students seems very hard since it give them headaches and
nerves. They think that Mathematic is a vicious monster, difficult and useless. Learning
Mathematic is like a deadly disease in their life. Many students hate mathematic since they
know it. There are some reasons why many students hate Mathematic.
One of the reasons is they think that Mathematic is not important and useless for
them. It is because they don’t know the functions of Mathematic, especially in their daily
activities. As everybody knows that Mathematic is important thing. It is used in daily
activities, such as to predict weather, to tell time, to handle money like in commerse
activity. Other examples are when counting or calculating something, measuring weight
and height, solving problems about quatification, and so on. That’s why Mathematic is so
important and taught at school. If they know how important Mathematic for their live, they
will not hate it.
Another reason why many students hate mathematic is that it is difficult to be
understood. As everybody knows that Mathematic is taught since Elementary School up to
Junior and Senior High School or maybe up to college. Many students who are taught
Mathematic firstly usually have bad perception about it. They who are still young usually
like to imagine about all of things. They usually don’t like a real or an abstract thing like
Mathematic. They think that Mathematic is difficult, they cann’t imagine it in their mind,
so they have difficulties to understand it.
Many students think that studying Mathematic seems very hard. They don’t like
Mathematic, because it means they have to deal with numbers, quantifications and
formulas. They will feel bored and dizzy when they hear and see the formulas. The
students who hate Mathematic usually dislike the formulas that are given by their teacher.
They think that the formulas are like vicious monsters that will make them dizzy and
worried.
In conclusion, studying Mathematic seems difficult for many students. They hate
Mathematic because they think that it is useless, not important, difficult, and painful. The
students should like learning Mathematic and it should come from themselves. They
should enjoy learning Mathematic. They must know and understand what the functions of
mathematic and how to apply it in their daily life. If they can do so, they will not hate
Mathematic.
